The well publicized store hours say it’s open until 7pm or 9pm depending on the day. I pull up to the donations area at 6:30pm and a guy just says through the glass “donations are closed.”
I drive to the front of the store and carry them in and they’re open and the donations are immediately accepted. Would have been so easy for the guy to just open the door and take the three bags of clothes. Literally took him longer to say he was “closed.”

This shirt goes for $5 brand new at Target, goodwill is selling it used for $6. Prices have gone up way too high here. Used to be a good spot!

Something unique about this goodwill within the last year or so has been happening- i have noticed happy & helpful employees (unheard of in south florida goodwills) & the level of cleanliness and professionalism is unlike any nearby goodwill. It smells good and the store is large enough to actually have some items with the daily “50% off” color tag. I spoke to the presumed cashier at checkout and mentioned all these opinions, and he told me thank you that he has been working hard since he took over as manager. Gosh does it show! WTG to management at the Oakland Park location!!! Well deserved 5 star review!

One of the best goodwills out there new and used stuff for cheap found a pair of Nike air forces new for only $30. The clothes are good as well

We not gonna come here again . The manager lady so mean and so rude . The way she talk with me so bad but all staff so nice except manager. Actually we come here 1-2 days a week and buy stuff over$100 every time. Believe me from now on no more and I’m gonna keep telling all of my friends do not come here. I hope they realizes and change the manager.

So, this is a review for the Goodwill Drop Off at Galt Ocean Mile. I didn't find a Yelp page for this location. Anyways, I've been donating here for many years now and the personnel are always nice and efficient and the inside is clean. It is only accepting donations, there is no store. They offer receipts. Today I left some clothes. Highly recommend using this service!:)

This is my very favorite Goodwill in Florida! The people are kind and helpful, the store is very clean and the stuff is fabulous! I always try to not be on a schedule when I come because I love to shop here!
