Customers have had mixed experiences at Shell stations. Some have had difficulty finding a "legitimate" Shell gas station, as some stations with the Shell brand are no longer affiliated with the company. However, one customer found a genuine Shell station where their gas card worked without issue. The convenience stores at these stations offer a diverse range of food options, including guava pastries, empanadas, Jamaican patties, and sandwiches, catering to the Hispanic background of the staff. While one customer was disappointed to receive a different type of empanada than ordered, the guava pastry was praised. Another customer, however, had a very positive experience, highlighting the friendly and bilingual staff, delicious deli food, and well-maintained gas pumps and vacuum.
