My personal experience is that Ocala Imaging Center is very good about scheduling, cancellations, authorization follow up to schedule new or existing patients and I have been going there for at least 6 years - The holidays are here an phone delays is expected because due to flu season, they may be short staffed. I was patiently waiting 14 min the first time today, hung up and called again, yes I waited another 20 minutes and a lady scheduled my father for his Lumbar CT Scan Dec 16th, she was wonderful and helpful. Patience is a virtue that's all I have to say.

My appointment was at 9:15 for an ultrasound and x-ray... I couldn't get the ultrasound... but they said I could get the x-ray... and I've been here for hours....

This was the worst imaging place I have visited in my LIFE!
NO ORGANIZATION SKILLS, NO HOSPITALITY SKILLS, THEY OVERBOOKED AND THEY ARE EXTREMELY SLOW!
If you can go anywhere else PLEASE DO!

I posted a review 2 months ago in regard to an incident and then I turned around and deleted it for the simple fact that I didn't want to deter people/ women from getting follow up ultrasounds or mammograms. But like I said that was 2 months ago and Kelly was the lady who gave me the mammogram and severely hurt my right breast. So much so that I was still crying during the ultrasound because it hurt to have an ultrasound. Since then I have been dealing with a blood blister that had formed. I'm hoping that I have no further issue regarding this but I think I will never go back to HCA Ocala Imaging ever again. I was very upset that day because of what had happened and Kelly couldn't even apologize. All she did was hand me a tissue and walk out of the room! Someone like that in my opinion should be reprimanded in some form of action for the way she treated me. Totally unprofessional! I hope no one else experiences that kind of pain from a mammogram. Good luck everyone.

After only one day and the weekend
They got back to me.
A nice woman named guanavier helped me.
And then the nice, ladies at the desk, as I showed up this monday, took care of me.
Very busy season
They are at season. So pack your patience.It's not their fault.They're just packed.
Great people.Hope my scan goes well too.

The health care here is making me feel more comfortable as i'm getting closer to my exam.Thank you

Oh dear. Most painful mammogram ever!
I actually have a bruise on upper left breast and into armpit. Then, afterward, I was in the hall, waiting for the restroom, —the two technicians were involved in a discussion—-criticizing me and my pain for the world to hear. They were unaware that I could hear their discussion! What a surprise! When a procedure is much too painful to continue, then you obviously can’t! I am not talking uncomfortable. I am talking pain. I am so disappointed that Humana is not contracted for 2025 with the place I went last year. 😩
I won’t be back and likely finished with mammograms forever.

I had a good experience. I got there early and got my imaging done quickly. Mammogram changing area and screening room were immaculate. My tech was very sweet especially knowing it was my first time.

They are always always slow. Even in the AM!
Once I prepped, holding urine, waited a long time and then they cancel as they don't do the ultrasound I was booked to get!! Why did they dook it? Why didn't It get cancelled before I came? it's a 40 min ride from my home.
They hold your I'd and insurance hostage in the front waiting room. I am guessing so you don't walk out. They finally usually over an hour wait call you to then wait again in a second waiting room.
I hate coming here.

My daughter had an appointment today at 10:15. She has waited several mo to get in. We even had to go in prior to make the appointment which took 1 1/2 hours just to make appt.
When she was called back, they told her she had a 300.00 co-pmt. She had changed insurance companies since er last visit, so unaware of co payment, She only brought what she paid last time. Seems as if someone should have told how much her co payment was going to be. She only had $40 in cash. I paid one hundred dollars and .77 cents plus her $40.00.
The lady called billing and explained she was never told what to bring. They did not care. This was all we could do.
She had an ultrasound and mammogram done. 4 hours, we were there. I think this was just uncalled for, from the get go. This place is so unorganized. Someone who has a mother who is a breast cancer survivor and she now has cysts, should be a little more sensitive to them.

My provider sent me over to HCA imaging for an ultrasound after an abnormal mammogram in their office. She instructed me to go in person so that I could be seen as soon as possible. She did not want a several week delay. After providing the order, photo ID and insurance card at HCA imaging I was told to have a seat in the lobby that it would be about a 15 minute wait to schedule an appointment. After an hour and 15 minute wait I went back to the receptionist letting her know that I have been waiting for an extended period of time just to schedule an appointment. She very rudely informed me that their scheduled appointments come first not scheduling appointments. I was told that I would have to continue to wait out in the lobby. 10 minutes later a representative came into the lobby and handed me an appointment card with a date and time scheduled for 3 months ahead and told me that was their first available appointment. I found both staff members I encountered very rude and unprofessional. After leaving frustrated I called my provider and was told to call Radiology Associates of Ocala. Their phone representative was extremely helpful after explaining my situation. She was able to schedule me for an ultrasound for the following week. Don’t waste your time with HCA imaging. They are very unorganized, unprofessional, and rude!

You will wait for nearly an hour to speak to a human being even to confirm an appt. The population has increased yet it's no excuse . Do better HCA Ocala Imaging!

Unfortunately, without even visiting the office, my first impression of the scheduling process was very negative. The staff member I spoke with (Allison) was rude, condescending, and very short with me. She stated that my doctor’s order was incorrect but did not allow me the opportunity to clarify before quickly placing me on hold.
When I spoke with a supervisor, the interaction felt superficial and showed no real concern regarding the staff member’s behavior. Based on this experience, I will strongly consider other offices.

Recently I had an appointment for services at Ocala Imaging. The appointment was made almost two months before. I was told to be there 15 minutes early. When I arrived I was given more paperwork to complete. I dared to ask a question for clarification regarding payment. I was dismissed with a wave of a hand . I waited in the second waiting room for almost an hour and a half. When I noticed the tenth person that I came in after I did was called I decided I had given them enough of my time.
I did notice the sign sitting on the counter admonishing patients to be kind and courteous to the staff. Apparently the staff does not have to be kind and courteous to the patients.

Employees are great. My only problem is the chairs un the lobby and rear waiting area. I would rather be waterboarded than to spend 10 minutes in those medieval torture devices.
