The staff at this location is very friendly, customer service driven and the availability and cleanliness of their vehicles are great. I highly recommend AVIS and this location as well for anyone looking for a rental vehicle. I had an excellent experience!

Probably the worst experience I've had with any business in my life. The car I picked up was not inspected and therefore, I drove 100+ miles in a car with a DONUT on it, with my wife. A tiny spare tire, driving 70+ mph on the highway. I did not notice until I reached my destination, where I let them know about the spare tire. Later that day, Justin(?) from this location called me and apologized for the mishap and mentioned he would refund me. Not only did the refund never come through, I just received a charge in the mail from AVIS for a "damaged tire" during my rental. AVIS customer support has been abysmal at addressing my issue, telling me I'm fully responsible for the original charge + this bogus repair fee. Avoid this location and company. There are way too many other options available to go through what I'm going through.

By far, one of the most deceptive and fraudulent companies out there. Despite the fact that I am a legal professional who has threatened legal action, this company continues to send misspelled messages from foreign individuals who can't even formulate a complete sentence.I have made no less than fourteen phone calls to Avis, and still have yet to get resolution. I've been bounced around to numerous call centers, speaking to individuals with accents so thick you could barely understand them, and when asking where they were located, they would lie and say they were in San Diego or Texas. Finally, I speak to someone named Antonio, (ID 11448) and I decide to utilize my dictation software on my phone and I record the call. Antonio insists he's located in the US, but after he finds out who I am and that I'm recording the call, he later confesses he's actually in Mexico City. Come to find out, the international call centers utilized by Avis and Budget are advised to LIE to customers, telling them they are located within the US, when in fact they are all in foreign countries. I'm DENIED access to anyone in the US, and three request for a Supervisor in three days, and not one call back. Not one.I ratified and entered into a contract with Avis the minute I prepaid for a service with them, and yet multiple times I was lied to a misled by numerous employees.Further, my credit card was accepted as a form of pre-payment for my reservation, and yet upon arrival to pick-up my rental, I am then told Avis doesn't accept my card. I'm told Avis only accepts major credit cards with the Visa, Discover, American Express logo, etc. Well, my card IS a Visa! And despite my law firm scouring the internet for hours, as well as my rental contract, NO WHERE does it state that my form of payment is not acceptable!!A brochure was tossed at me, and I was told to call customer service to get a refund of my pre-payment.Twenty more minutes on hold, another non-English speaking representative who tells me I'll get my refund in 24 hours. However, that comes and goes, and still no refund. However, I can see in my bank account that there's a refund pending in 3-5 days. More lies. I can also see that there's $150 missing.So again, now my fifteenth call to Avis, I have to find out what the heck is going on. NOW I'm told that Avis withheld $150 back as a 'deposit', in case there was damage to the vehicle. Um, I NEVER EVEN TOUCHED A VEHICLE! This was just one more colossal mistake by Avis, a way for them to keep customers' money interest-free, and to inconvenience people!I have my law firm draft a Notice of Intent to File a Lawsuit for so many breaches of contract, fraud, deception, and on and on, and here's the response I get: (Complete with typos, omitted words, and an obvious failure to actually read what I wrote - and mind, you, I AM the customer!)Dear part,Thank you for contacting Avis Customer Service.For security purposes, we are unable to provide any rental information. The renter must contact us directly for further assistance.Thanks for choosing us, who hope you a great day.Kind regards,YazminSo I respond that I am in fact the customer. This time I get an automated response from "Karla", who says my refund was finally created with, "great success" and will be returned in SEVEN days.Get your stories straight, Avis. At this rate, you look like complete clowns. You tell your employees to lie to customers, and I have it in a recording. You accept payments from customers, then tell them you won't accept it after they travel an hour to get to the rental location, and leave them high and dry. THEN you lie about processing refunds, lie about the length of time it takes to get the refund, and hold deposits that are unnecessary so you can keep customers' money interest-free. One contradiction after another, IN WRITING!I've given you 7 day to resolve this to my satisfaction or I'm taking legal action. My case number is 62

Ocala Airport location - Justin is always helpful -& pairs my phone with the vehicle so I can have hands free calls and my music on my phone. I appreciate that a lot when I am going to be in a vehicle a long time & dont need to fool with radio stations while I am driving. Very comfortable SUV this time!

Great Ford Pickup. No instruction- just take keys and go. Result: Could not use GPS for duration of rental. 1/2 hour on phone talking to remote people after numerous menu choices and got no help. AVIS should tell people features as needed as GPS are not functional. Very disappointing.

Terrible experience with Avis at the Ocala airport! Customer service was terrible! Did not have car ready..told me to Uber to another location only to find out that they did not have a car avavilable and was stranded again. this location had a sign that said it was managed by Green Light GO Florida LLC. Find another rental company for all your rental needs! This is the car they gave me after all the complications! Pretty for 10 day rental!

The first car that was given to me smelled like cigarette smoke & had long white dog hair all over the back seat and trunk. I brought the keys back inside and asked for a vacuum & the helpful female clerk apologized for the inconvenience & offered me a Jeep Grand Cherokee that was currently being cleaned & prepped to be rented. I accepted the offer & was brought the car.Cloth seats need to deep cleaned badly.Not even 15 miles after receiving the Jeep, ⚠️"Oil Change Required" flashed across the dashboard.⚠️ "Rear Blind Sensor" also flashed on the dashboard for the entire 3 day trip. I wiped the rear blind sensors off with a paper towel (which is what the Drivers Manuel suggested) several times throughout the duration. Which did not fix the issue.During the first 24 hours of me having the Jeep I realized that there was absolutely not one drop of windshield washer fluid in the vehicle, which was extremely inconvenient considering I was driving approximately 700 miles during this trip. Therefore, I had to stop at several gas stations to clean my windshield in order to see the roadway properly & clearly. I rent from Avis quite often, so for me to have all of these issues wasEXTREMELY annoying. Someone really needs to step up & do their job!

Cars are not reliable, vacations was shorten running around getting car clean disinfected from smells and always have to place gas, car are never ready to go, options for drop off are limited and concessions fees are a killer. Would not recommend or rent from Avis especially Ocala locations anymore.

Drove an hour to get here and had a reservation. Was told they did not have a car for me. I said I never got a call cancelling this reservation. They said well we just have had back to back customers. Will not use again!
