I'm sitting in the lobby right now. It's the WORSE customer service. This manager lady was snotty to me while waiting on line to see a teller. Then they have me running around bc they can't cash this or that. I've lost so much time and money by going through hoops for these ppl.Just the worse. I'm glad I bank with a different institution

There are no drive thru’s and it takes an hour inside every time. Worst bank around. If I could leave no stars I would.

WILL NEVER BANK OR RECOMMEND THEM! My identity was stolen some how and I received an alert Sunday saying I was opening new accounts, I have never banked with chase or applied, my credit is locked down due to identity theft 3 years ago. so nothing should have been approved. But I guess chase felt is was ok to open a checking account even tho my sssn is blocked and they couldn’t run my credit I have called customer service for 2 days, fraud department, they told me. They cancelled and closed and flagged everything and then I went in person to close the accounts they opened, after doing all of this someone still has access and is making changes I called again to ask for help and was met with Im to busy you can come Tomorrow you need to be under these cameras ! So someone can open fake accounts and y’all will give them a checking account with a locked Ssn AND THEY DONT HAVE TO BE UNDER CAMERAS BUT ME WHO HAS BEEN THERE 3 hrs BEFORE IS ASKING FOR HELP AND WHAT TO DO BUT YOUR TO BUSY AND I NEED TO BE IN PERSON! These supposed accounts were closed on Sunday but they mailed debit cards out the next day on Monday even though they told me they were closed and flagged and no one would be able to do anything. After going in personally today to show my id and make sure all accounts were closed 3 hrs later I get another email stating whoever this is is changing the email address on the account. WORST FRAUD DEPARTMENT THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT PROTECTING YOUR IDENTITY !

tl;dr overzealous or careless teller made a mistake on handling a deposit resulting in a 2 week hold on funds that Chase already has in hand. Various reps and sups with the deposit hold team exhibiting an abject lack of professionalism, and taking even my exceptional level of chill (built from working customer service myself for many years) away. Experience has been so poor that I am seriously considering leaving chase after multiple years of membership.Long term client though I do most stuff online, came in Monday as I received a large check from my grandmother as a last wish before she passed away. The teller I got when I walked up asking to deposit this check acted really suspicious of me from the get go and interrupted me mid sentence to tell me since it wasn't a chase check and I didn't have the balance to cover in my account (eye roll) I couldn't cash it. I advised her I'd said to deposit 96% and just wanted 4% as cash back (I did have balance to cover the 4%). She insisted I'd said cash and to avoid more conflict I just went along with it. When she tried to deposit it like I asked, the cash portion failed and rather than continue the transaction she cancelled it and then started a new one. This triggered a hold when otherwise there wouldn't have been one and rather than being able to access the gift from my deceased grandmother, its being held for almost two weeks as though I just brought a duffel bag of bloody cash in to deposit. As a result of this action (can't decide if a mistake or she was being overzealous in protecting the multimillion dollar global entity of chase corp from my check that was less than 15k), I have spent multiple hours on the phone with multiple members of the deposit hold team. I've had 5 reps talking over me, condescending, and refusing to help, I've had 2 escalation supervisors lie to me about calling the other bank on the phone and angrily disconnecting my call when I catch them out on lying.I've now had to bother my grandfather three times in two days, each time reminding him of the wound of his wife passing away two weeks ago, to either get info from him, or to do the deposit hold teams job of verifying check is payable and that Chase already has the funds from the paying bank, only to have a rep and supervisor tell me that they by default consider any information a customer obtained to be false (I have the literal document that they would have given chase). At this point I am hoping to find someone to escalate to, because every call I make takes an hour or more and goes nowhere and all that is preventing the funds that Chase already has from releasing is a strange fixation on "policy" and an unwillingness of anyone with the authority to even consider an exception.

This review is specifically for this branch. No matter how many times I seem to go in there. It always leaves me annoyed, and angry. I walked in the branch the branch was empty and there were two employees sitting in a glass office. I asked if there was a sign in sheet and they asked me if I had an appointment I said no. They tell me they can only help me if I have an appointment. I said well why don’t you just help me you’re obviously not busy. But I have an appointment in 15 to 20 minutes she said. Great I’d like to find out about payroll services. She tells me she can’t help me. I said why not and then she says what happens if the appointment is early. My response was you can let them wait until the appointment time and if we’re not finish then I will come back. her response. I’m sorry I can’t help you. So I think the point is they would rather sit and talk amongst themselves for 15 to 20 minutes instead of helping an actual client. I will never go back in this branch again my other branch, which was unfortunately 30 minutes further is always so helpful. Their service at this branch is pathetic. Please avoid if it all possible.

I told my husband not to go to this branch because they’re the worst!! He said Chase is a great bank and all branches are good. I told him I would wait for him in the car because I know he is going to have problems. He told me that I should run some errands and come back and pick him up afterwards. I’m sure glad I waited. He came out less than three minutes looking extremely upset. I told you so, I said.

Just tried to deposit money in my husband's account and they asked me for his driver's license even though I came in with a deposit slip from his account. I have to show his license to deposit money in his account. Seriously Chase is the worst bank ever.

I recently visited Chase Bank at 1602 E Silver Springs Blvd, Ocala, FL and would not recommend it to anyone. Their policies seem to change frequently and are not consistent. I've had to wait a long time to conduct my business, and it seems as if my time is not valuable to them. Overall, my experience was disappointing. #review #reviews#chasebank #ocalaflorida #NotRecommended #InconsistentPolicies #longwaittime #PoorCustomerExperience #DisappointingService

The only Chase location I’ve been to with poor customer service from a teller. Claudia is always purposely rude and then goes out of her way to speak very nicely to other customers. This has happened 3 times with her, I’m guessing she may be a racist. I guess it’s best to visit the other locations for my banking needs.

I dont appreciate this banks closing my business account. You guys need to get your act together. Call or email. Just sending a letter out wanting more information and call doesn't cut it. This is a horrible bank. Would not reccomend banking with these thieves.

Terrific bank, terrific folks there. Very pleasant, helpful with customers. I also loved them in NY when i worked on Wall Street and in the spring and summer would eat my lunch at Chase Plaza, tables, benches, where people still rest, eat, relax with the food trucks that were parked. That warmth, brought a lot of customers Everywhere USA to Chase.
