“Just had my wedding there! Everything was incredible the lighting the natural sunset forest back drop and the intimate colorful inside space. Not to mention the PRICE!! This place is a steal!! They help with everything from working with vendors set up and visioning as well as day of coordinator and even a list of Officiants. If you're looking for an affordable inside and or outside wedding venue that's easy on the pocket look no further!!”

“My wife and I recently moved to the SE Ocala Area and found this wonderful smallish Catholic Church to attend and we love it. Father Jarek Sztybel is a great priest and we feel blessed to have found this church. The Church is on State Road 464 in the little (unincorporated area of) Candler just northwest of Ocklawaha and Lake Weir on Maricamp. Pictures are from just after Easter Sunday 2026 when the church was nicely decorated.”

“This is our first year as snowbirds and we feel so fortunate to have found a seasonal church home at Joy! The Pastor and congregation members have all been welcoming (without overwhelming us!), the service and sermons are meaningful and there are opportunities for involvement/outreach. Would definitely recommend attending a service if you are looking for a friendly spiritual/community outlet!”

“My experience visiting this congregation in Marion Oaks was very welcoming and warm! Pastor Charles H. Clay preached a compelling biblical message, from the word of God. It was a traditional, hometown church service, unlike the production of those mega-churches often seen.”

“This year we needed help with Christmas gifts for our 2 year old since we only have one income.
Salvation Army was able to help us with the Angel tree program.
Thanks to the people who donated , the volunteers and everyone involved.
I am beyond grateful and hope to one day give back to the community.
At the Salvation Army church I was able to learn the true meaning of Christmas.”
