“My son and I recently took the first Yoga for Men class with George Kent at Nadi Om Wellness. My wife has been going to Yoga classes at Nadi Om for three years. She made many new friends there and has enjoyed a number of health benefits in terms of strength and mobility since joining. My son and I tried this course at her encouragement.

George is a retired Soldier and Marine, and I am a retired U.S. Army Officer. My son is a lacrosse player, wrestler, and an avid mountain biker - so none of us are strangers to demanding physical regimens.

George is a superb Yoga instructor who not only introduced us to the history and benefits of Yoga, but also began training us in the breathing, stretching, balance, and muscle strengthening poses (postures) that have really helped us both (I'm 73 and my son is 32). I have to admit I am amazed at just the difference in balance, strength, and joint mobility we enjoyed after only six weeks.

George is patient and attentive. He works with each student during the classes. He is ever mindful of what a each student can actually do at a given point - not to mention a guy with a great sense of humor who is just plain fun to be around. Thus he always ensures we are working within our capabilities, we are pushing the envelop a bit to get better; and we are not doing anything that could injure ourselves - all while just having fun.

For men who haven't tried Yoga, I should say that it is not all about meditation (a common misconception, I think); rather it teaches proper stretching, breathing, balance, and exercise that is increasingly challenging while introducing techniques to calm and control emotional challenges some people may face (e.g., anger, road rage, etc.). I note in passing that the military has been adopting many Yoga based exercises and principles into its physical programs and the reasons quickly become obvious.

Regardless of your initial motivation, Yoga can clearly be a very beneficial part of a well-rounded program of strengthening, joint mobility, balance improvement, breathing optimization, and emotional control. It is challenging and becomes more so as you improve and start ever more advanced techniques but if you will see immediate benefits even from a couple of classes a week combined with some home practice.

My son and I both really enjoyed the classes and plan to continue on Nadi Om Wellness Yoga with George and other instructors. I highly recommend this program regardless of your current physical state - it will benefit in ways you never imagined.”

“I believe the swimming lessons are great sometimes the classes are too big for only 1 or two instructors but my kid definitely learned a lot. The only thing I did not like is they don’t give any feedback back in progress. Yes I think my kid is doing great but I like to get the opinion from someone else’s eyes especially to see if she needs to take classes more often or is she ready to move up a level.”

“I genuinely enjoy shopping at this Goodwill and visit regularly because you can often find great deals and unique items. The staff has always been friendly, and the store is usually well-stocked.

My biggest complaint is the checkout process. The register lines can become extremely long, and there are times when customers spend several minutes at the register while transactions are processed. When only one register is open, the wait can quickly become frustrating, especially when there are many shoppers in line.

I understand that employees have procedures they must follow, but speeding up the checkout process or opening additional registers during busy periods would make a huge difference in the overall customer experience.

I will continue shopping here because I enjoy the store, but I hope management takes a look at the wait times at the registers. A faster checkout experience would easily make each visit more enjoyable.”
