I am not sure why the average is really low in stars because I really had no complaints. I have been visiting this location since we moved close by last year. I have had the Care Pass membership for years now and each month, I am given $10 to use on most items in the store. I have purchased all sorts of items with my monthly allowance lol. There were even some months I did not really need anything so I used it to buy candy for hubs and dog toys. Like most restrictions, you cannot use it on prescriptions or alcohol.I like this location because I really never had an issue and it is usually very quiet. There was only one incident that was outside of someone passed out on the side of the store and the cops were called to assess the situation. The employee working was very calm and professional that night. I have only dealt with the cashiers here and not the pharmacists so I cannot speak on that experience. This store usually has items in stock but they can be pricey. The feminine products I use are mostly in stock so that makes me happy. The store is generally clean and tidy. Some aisles are more narrow than others, which can be difficult to maneuver when there are strange people in the store and are clueless. The staff at the front have always been friendly and helpful. If I am purchasing something simple or there are several people on line, I will generally use the self checkout.

I put in a job application for a Pharmacy Tech; and i had a missed phone call so I called them back, my phone automatically took me straight to the pharmacy section and the lady answered asked for my info and i quickly told her i wasn't there for medication and i submitted a job application and i had a missed phone call from this number and i was just calling back. and she told me " well you need to talk to the front of the store not the pharmacy,let me transfer you." and after she "transferred" me i don't think she realized the call didn't transfer because she started saying rude things about me " this girl on the phone is such a air-head and she doesn't seem too smart like you don't call the pharmacy looking for a job"... i called the store back and talked to the Manager and he was super nice and quickly apologized and said he will definitely take care of this.

I popped in to purchase something over the counter and had to issues. I didn't have to use the pharmacy so I can't comment on all the extremely negative reviews. The store was clean and I was in and out in a few minutes.

First time using this location and was pleasantly surprised with fast service through the drive through. In addition the team member that helped us was extremely friendly.

One word, HORRIBLE! Currently on the phone for an hour and 49 mins and counting! On reason they even got one star is because there is no option for less than. I am now on the line with corporate customer service and even they are having issues getting a hold of the pharmacy. Let's see what happens. Update to follow. I suggest you all call corporate and do the same or nothing will improve.

I have been going to this cvs for over a year now trying to give them a chance and it's painful every time. Either I'm on the phone for 15+ minutes trying to get through or sitting in the drive through for 20 minutes. Everything is at a snails pace. I wouldn't mind as much if the workers weren't so rude sometimes. Really frustrating. Save your time and go to a different one.

I'm making it my personal mission to mount an all out internet review assault on this place. The hospital sent the script to the wrong CVS (same road diff number) Okay not their fault. The right one (equally awful) said the one that got it "is working on it" so she couldn't take it from them or the system would mess up. But that when it was finished she could cancel and transfer. How long, no clue - come back tomorrow. Well you see my mother nearly died and just got sent home with these important meds so no I'll go to the other one. The entire 20 min drive I was on the phone on hold. 25 minutes later I was in front of the window with the most insufferable power tripping "technician". Zero apologies about any of the wait/ not answering the phone (I have every right to be upset that a healthcare industry facility did not answer in 25 minutes - not even to ask me to continue to hold). Guess what - it's not even touched. I said what does it even mean that you were working on it then?! It'll be "expedited" and ready in 20 min. What ensued was me demanding my answers for the questions I could have had answered on my 25 min on hold on the phone. YOU HAVE NO HEART NO COMPASSION AND ZERO CUSTOMER SERVICE. I WILL NOT REST UNTIL YOUR CORPORATE GOONS ARE COMING DOWN ON YOU SO HARD YOUR ATTITUDE CHANGES OR YOUR JOB DISSOLVES SO THAT SOMEONE WITH A LITTLE MORE CUSTOMER SERVICE SAVVY GETS IT.

Terrible Customer Service!!! Do not waste your time, and it's not worth the frustration to even Try to use this pharmacy. I called at different times and can never get through. Then went there and they were So RUDE!

This particular CVS is the WORST location I have ever used. I have lived in MD, FL, CA and used CVS in all of these states in addition to others. I have never had the issues that I have experienced with this location. The staff definitely needs additional training to help them deal with customers. It isn't a huge deal if I have to drop a prescription off, however; when the staff advises you it will be completed by a specific time and you show up an hour after the given time just to allot the staff extra time and it still isn't done is unacceptable! I was in extreme pain due to shingles and it took 4 hours to receive my prescriptions. I was in tears by the time I got home. In November last year my husband and I were going on our Honeymoon Cruise and I submitted a prescription for motion sickness patches TWO WEEKS in advance. I was informed that they were having difficulty ordering the patches from several vendors but that they would have it for me prior to my cruise, no question. The week prior to us leaving I contacted them several times to see if I needed to get a different prescription and was told that they would definitely have it. I called the day before Thanksgiving to inquire and explained that if I needed a different prescription from my doctors office, I would need to reach them by Wednesday since they were off Thursday and Friday for the holiday and we were leaving Saturday. I was assured all was fine and I would definitely have the patches no later than Friday. Friday arrived and no patches, I finally got desperate and contacted Walgreens, they offered the brand which was not covered by insurance but that I could pay for outright. I was also informed that the generic brand was no longer being produced which would have been nice to know and was NEVER communicated by CVS. Thankfully I was able to purchase the brand patches from Walgreens or I would have been a very sick individual on my honeymoon! Unfortunately my husbands insurance requires us to use CVS or I would have switched a year ago. Just because a pharmacy has lots of business doesn't mean it should ignore quality service. I worked in HR for 20 years and it is quite obvious to me that they do NOT treat their employees any better than their customers which begs the question of these large companies, "Is quantity more important than quality?" I have seen companies like this lose to a competitor when they aren't paying attention to their customers or employees. If your employees are cared for, they will care for your business to include better customer service. Just remember that you can't always stay a leader in the industry if you don't continue to strive to be better. I have switched CVS's that is definitely further from my home but worth the extra drive if the quality of customer service is better. I would NOT recommend the Silver Springs Blvd location until they can possibly get it together.
