I had a medical emergency in this Dollar General yesterday around 1:00pm the 2 employees working were very helpful. They saw to it that I was cared for. I appreciate them for that. I didn’t get their names but I’m very grateful for them both.

I ordered 3 items. I ordered 2 tiny bags of chips and a DG literacy foundation chocolate bar. The substitute I put in was a small bag of milk chocolate caramels, IF the item wasn’t in stock. My order eventually arrives, and I see only two items in the bag. I see one out of the two bags of chips I ordered, and the substitute I put in. Automatically I’m confused because if the item was out of stock I wouldn’t have been able to order it. I go back in the app and it says there are multiple in stock for both of the items I ordered. So, my question is: if the item was in stock why bring me one of the items I ordered, and an unnecessary substitute when the item was in fact in stock? The in store shopping experience is pretty regular there’s nothing really bad about it. But as a first time delivery shopper/in app shopper this was a horrible experience, and i definitely won’t be ordering anything else through the app. The customer support line is awful. I placed this order at 3pm and it arrived just a little over 6:30. Apparently the customer support hours are 7am-5pm which is stupid because the store closes at 10pm? Anyways, my issue here is: if customer service hours end at 5pm and my order is estimated to arrive 6-7 PM who do I talk to or call if I’m having issues with my order?? What’s the point of having a customer support line if it’s not going to be up until closing hours😐? This was genuinely the worst experience I’ve ever had with ordering items through an app. I don’t understand why people sign up for a job they didn’t want to do in the first place and take it out on the innocent people who put money in their pockets. 👎

Just left this location pissed off and humiliated. We shop here pretty regularly because we live in Anthony. I went in today after working all day and gathered some things. Got up to the register and the customer in front of me was having some difficulties so needless to say I was standing there for a bit. No biggie. Another girl came up from the back and took the next customer. Next up finally was me and she literally looked at me snobbishly and said I'm sending you to her, that's a lot of stuff and called the guy behind me up by name to check out. Mind you I had a big thing of toilet paper and paper towels in my cart so it looked like more than it was. Regardless it was embarrassing and totally uncalled for so I left my cart sitting there and left. Horrible experience after a hard days work but ya know what? My money will now be spent elsewhere. Teach your employees some basic customer service skills or at the very least common courtesy and respect.

Decent little general store, to hit up in a hurry. They might not have every brand, but will have most, if not every daily essential the big stores off, in a fraction of the space...they even have a (small)fresh produce section, now! Also, this store even stayed open a while after all the big stores closed up, before the hurricane. Very glad I could grab some last minute essentials.

So they fired everybody in the store managers and employees. Got new Manager . I go almost every day . Spend alot of money over $100 a week . Went in other day New Manager was there . She was at register. I was trying to ask her a question about the new Snapple drink she was so busy talking to the other person about the safe how they changed the combination since they fired everyone. It was like I wasn't even there . Very Rude At least the other manager was personable . If this is how it's going to be maybe I need to take my money elsewhere .

I love this Dar General store is usually clean shelves are stocked and employees are nice can't wait for them to rebuild Mine by my house that burnt down I miss it so much so I come to this one for now

I couldn't shop numerous aisles because of merchandise blocking the aisles. The employees were very helpful and friendly.
