This place has the best organic food and drinks ever. They also have a kitchen were they cook stuff for you. Yes it's extremely expensive. But great quality food. This place is definitely not for the cheap people lol

Staff needs training! Whole Foods pricing with staff that don't know vegan products can't contain milk. Watched a man asking an employee about vegan cupcakes he buys for his daughter regularly. She said she was off the clock which to me is already unprofessional because you will never see that at a Trader Joe's or Whole foods. But she took the time to keep insisting that the cupcakes he was holding were vegan even though the ingredient label said CONTAINS MILK. She then told him he needs to order them 3 days in advance when these are pre-packaged items, not made at the store. I found 2 containers of the vegan ones shoved in the back and got them for him.

Expensive! Over $5 for one regular small can of soup, over $3.50 for a regular small can of soda, almost 10 bucks for a small single microwave lunch meal! They have a stand for a cooked chicken in a plastic bag sitting under a heat lamp just leeching out the toxic heat treated chemicals into the kitchen! I'm not joking or over exaggerating, this stuff is dangerous and what they have is very expensive. No wonder there's hardly anybody here! Man I used to shop here several years ago. There's absolutely no reason this place should be this expensive. Even if you are a member it's still really expensive. In my opinion it's just an excuse to say people are getting a deal if they join this membership club where they get a very small percentage off. Honestly, you can go to your local market and go to the organic section and get stuff way cheaper than they have here. It's just a gimmick. I don't ever want to shop here again! On the front of the building and says responsibly farmed locally Source made from scratch certified organic humanely raised preservative free but I have to tell you, I'm very familiar with pesticides preservatives colorants and bioengineered food products. Honestly they could get sued for having this stuff out front without a title of what they're pointing to when they say all these things about how good they are. I will probably never shop here again just due to the fact how they're misleading customers.

To see the bad ratings astonishes me! Especially the ones that concern Tabitha! I come in this store a lot, and she is always helpful and smiling and no matter how busy it gets she always makes sure I am helped as soon as possible. All the managers here are friendly no matter how their day is going. Everyone has bad days, but I have never had a bad experience here. I am not one to fall for fake accusations, I am writing this based on my experience in this store. Keep up Ocala Earthfare! Don't let fake reviews and bad accusations get you down! I will forever come to this store! You're doing great!

It's funny how people can be allowed to make up false reviews. It is scary the kind of people we have in this world.
Don't listen to the reports about the team at this store they are wonderful! Has to be disgruntled employees and friends.
Earth Fare Ocala is amazing! The employees and managers are all amazing! It is such a friendly environment and so much good stuff to choose from.

This is a great natural/organic food store. I gave it a five-star rating because they have very high quality food. Prices possibly a bit higher but if it's organic, wild caught, whole grain, grass-fed, cream-top, all in one place, Earth Fare is the place to go in Ocala.

Kudos to the manager I see on Mondays around the deli and bakery. She always is ready and willing to assist everyone. Staff was great today 9/29 noon but so many things were problematic. The carrot cake slice was charged at full price and I chose it because it was $3.99. The catfish which involved a lot of other products and work, turned out to be inedible mushy and tasteless yet still stinky. Exhausted with my lunch effort, I persisted and broiled the 5 oz lobster tail. Now I am cleaning the oven and the lobster was horrid!! Rock lobster ? Why isn’t it labeled as such? Those items and the expensive harvest soup, all garbage. The best part of my day was the musician outside the store Proud To Be An American. He made it all worth it!!!!

Tabitha, the manager from deli/bakery department is extremely rude, especially towards Lynn, who's one of the nicest and kindest workers there, and always professional, loves her job, collaborative, and helpful. And on top of that, Tabitha is also rude to costumers. If Tabitha doesn't like her job, she should look for another one that is more in line with her expectations. For Lynn I would give it 5 stars, but with Tabitha there I have to give it 1.

We drove from Dunnellon florida to ocala just to get meat from this store. Past visits could not have been better then there was this visit. The butcher that was helping us was less than thrilled to be packaging the meats like I was asking. 1lb pkg of ground beef in separate pkgs. Was going to get 4 pounds but 32.06 was over my budget so I asked for only 2. Ribeye steaks were on sale for 6.99 I did get 4 of them in 1 pkg. Our daughter wanted some too so I asked for them to be in single pkgs too when I got home I placed all the meats in my freezer. I took the first pkg of steaks out and they were the thinist steaks I've had from there HIGHLY DISSATISFIED. Still I figured he was upset because of how I wanted them packaged so I brushed it off. Then today I took out the ground beef and to my surprise the package felt like there were 2 pounds inside separate. We'll there were 2 but in very different size bags. I'll definitely be asking for a different butcher next visit.
