I can't begin to describe my appreciation to the EMCO team for their help with Cookie when the three of us appeared Friday night in dire straits. Cookie had the large intestine compaction and my husband and I had had an emotional overload of bad news about Cookie's future prognosis after his surgery earlier in the day at Ocala Equine Hospital (another fabulous place with a team who did a wonderful job).With the onset of colic, they recommended EMCO where Cookie needed to be transported to immediately. A special thanks to Dr. Carpenter and the techs that night that dealt with the three of us. Besides knowledge and professionalism, I was blown away by the compassion and caring for all of us as she may have saved Cookie's life.Special thanks also to Dr. Henry and Harrison for the daytime care and compassion they showed the three of us also. They were very kind and patient and allowed me a lot of hang-out time with Cookie. I am forever grateful to you all for saving him as I lost my last horse to colic in 2008.Again, thank you for everything.

I wasted 900 dollars getting my horse up there for kissing spine surgery, only to be declined for surgery, and on top of that they wont even send me the xrays they took. Ive asked twice now

My horse recently had surgery repairing a fractured bone above his eye everything went better than expected he was home in one day. Everyone was amazing.

Dr Miles has been very good to my horses and self. A few other vets have been out when Dr Miles not available- good experiences. Changes in office staff- Casey in particular. Not a real happy person.

I would put my horse down before taking her to this place. The worst office staff I have ever dealt with. If the office staff is so bad I hate to think what the hospital staff is like. Find someplace else.

Dr. Adams, Dr. Cuadros, and Dr. Gohman were amazing with one of our mares that we recently sent to EMCO. The knowledge, skills, experience, compassion, empathy, and wisdom they all demonstrated are priceless and rare. The staff was very polite, patient, and kind and the facilities were very clean.

Very unprofessional people to work with that. Do not care very much about their employees when having certain issues and they're only solutions for fixing problems are getting rid of people and firing them and letting them go instead of being responsible and being good management for barn crew, and other workers, especially allowing certain workers to use unnecessary actions for horses to get them to do what they need to do that is unnecessary as well as having very many issues with management and courtesy.

Update: It's been one month since Grady's surgery and he continues to improve daily. That speaks volumes about the care and knowledge the teams have at this facility.We can't even express the amount of gratitude we have for the staff at EMCO. Especially Dr. Cullen who saved our boy, Grady. He's our 8 yr old TB who stepped on a rusty nail. It infected his coffin bone and 50% of his flexor tendon at the bone attachment. Grady was given a 10% survival chance.Even with the low odds Dr. Cullen and Dr.MCcreary and team worked endlessly to save him.Grady is on day 3 post surgery and improving daily.Dr. Grobman showed such empathy and compassion texting me Gradys pics and updates daily after he arrived.There is no other place I would ever trust with our boys after this experience.We are forever thankful to all of you.Kelly and Bob Detwiler

I live closer to UF and Ocala Equine but always go to EMC with emergencies. Great staff. Horses are calm. We've had good results from two bad injuries. Thank you, EMC.

This place is excellent! The doctors took so much time and care in answering all of our questions while caring for our miniature donkey. The care they gave our little one was great. They really nursed her back to health.

My horse Thunder was sent to the Equine medical center of Ocala for shipping fever/pneumonia. I can’t say enough about the excellent communication (2x daily)the care and affordability they provided for me and my equine partner. Highly recommend and worth the extra long trailer ride from Bradenton. Thank you. He is doing fabulous! ❤️?

Just wanted to say thanks to Dr. Benker and Dr. Adams for working up my mare Fergie. I appreciate all they did for her. Both are professional and knowledgeable and thank you again. She will be missed.
