I’m beyond frustrated with my experience at Gold Gym. I moved to Ocala 6 months ago and decided to check out this gym about 2 months ago. A sales associate gave me a tour and convinced me that this was the perfect gym for me. He promised that they would call me towards the end of the year when the best promotions were available. Guess what? I never got that call.
Fast forward to recently when I went back to the gym, only to find out that the employee who made all these promises no longer works there. The promotion he told me about – $1 down and $37 a month with no commitment – ended the day before I showed up. I went to the gym the very next day and spoke with the manager, who basically said there was nothing he could do. Now the promotion is $49 a month plus tax.
It feels shady and dishonest. I was misled, and now me and my brothers will NOT be joining. It's clear they don’t value their customers. Honestly, it’s like they don’t care about earning anyone’s business. Very disappointing!
Guess my money isn’t green enough or might be something else 🤷🏾♂️

Very clean and has equipment and offerings to serve most people in their fitness goals. Kudos to Wanda who keeps the lady's room spic and span!

I really like the fact that it is such a large gym and even when it's busy there's always machines open. Really clean environment very gym etiquette. This gym is first class.

I want to give a shoutout to Trainer Emmanuel for his excellent character. I saw him smiling and greeting members, making eye contact and picking up things off of the floor. He definitely helps to create a friendly atmosphere and gives off an approachable vibe, all while showing a team-player attitude and pride for the workplace. Hey Emmanuel, I see you! Thanks!!

Appears to be an amazing gym. 5am isn’t early enough for those that work at 7am. Wish it were 24hr access…I’d be a member.

By far the best gym in the Ocala, FL area!!! My kids love the child care area they provide and ask to go every week, which helps push me to keep going back!!! Lots of equipment to target the area your working out and I love the sauna and salt water pool!!! Overall, I love it!!!

I signed up with Javier Ramirez. He is fantastic and welcoming. He listened to what I was looking for in a gym. He answered all my questions and made me feel like I made the right decision in choosing Golds. Gold Gym is lucky to have him.

They charge for kids club/child care but every time I call and (try) setting an appointment time to workout, they are full. Why am I paying a monthly subscription for something they dont let me use? I am too busy and don’t have a set schedule. So I cannot call ahead for the week to plan when I’ll be able to make time to workout. I will be reducing my membership or cancelling due to this.
This is a beautiful gym, that is maintained and has a friendly staff. Not ideal for people with kids.
