Every time, only one salesperson there who is at the register with a line of customers waiting their turn. No one there to unlock the guitars so I can try them out. No tech there to fix my guitar. The website "shop this store" button is inaccurate. If I call, I get put on indefinite hold.

They did mishandle my guitar and it gave it a small dent on the body, but they made up for it. Great customer service.

ZERO STARS !!!! Not even a 1 star.... I rarely write Negative reviews on businesses, however this company needs to be privy about how badly their local store is being run. First of all, the instructors are all great. They are dedicated to their students but have to teach with their hands tied behind their backs. We have experienced both retail and services at this location. The management at the local Ocala store leaves alot to be desired. Transactions and Scheduling is always a hassle and cumbersome. Nothing is cohesive, the employees are rarely on the same page. The store Manager Chris Garcia is the most rude & unprofessional person which sets the speed of the team's morale in many ways. This young man is arrogant and disrespectful to customers. The clerks and assistants do their best , but it is very evident that they are not trained in Professional Customer Service. The Retail setting and inventory seems adequate however the Service Component is lacking : which is the one Tag line that is advertised with Guitar Center Corp. ( Quality Customer Service ) It is sad that a few key employees spoil the entire reputation of what could be a quality service business in our area. We will not return to this store unless the management team is changed out. BUYER BEWARE !

The absence of DJ gear on display, a single DJ controller connected to an iMac with an inaccessible demo due to a forgotten password, and a team engrossed in their cellphones created a less-than-ideal experience. The absence of greetings or proactive assistance contrasts with the Guitar Centers I've valued for three decades.

Went there to buy a special guitar my wife had been wanting. We came down from Tennessee. West took all the time we needed to make a choice and even played a couple songs with us. We went home and ordered it. We drove back up to the store to ask if it had been delivered and she was spoken to in an uncaring manner by the green haired manager. It had not arrived yet and I almost stepped in and cancelled the order. We returned to pickup the guitar and again West was more than helpful but was busy with another customer. The same manager was left to help us but he stated that he was too busy moving some boxes around to help us. Again I almost cancelled the order. I made a comment about his actions showing where his priorities were and I think he got the hint and he retrieved the guitar from the back. We opened and played it some and West enthusiastically asked how we like it. The guitar is great and we left happy and it was all because of West. West saved this sale at least three times with his great customer service. Thanks so much and I would suggest West teaching some classes to the staff about the whole reason the come to work every day. Love the guitar!!!

It's a fancy pawn shop and music store. They have their own brands they will push on you first then all the traditional ones that have a name for a reason.

It's a guitar center, inventory is great and usually okay priced. The employees are rude and relentless on trying to upsell and that has been my experience in multiple years of shopping here. Went in to buy an audio interface immediately after mentioning the one I wanted the man went "it's not a good one" and tried to convince me to buy something that was 3x the price. Tried to sell me insurance on it aggressively during checkout. The store has also switched entirely to phones for checkout, it feels really clunky and I shouldn't be required to give an email to buy something, it didn't even send me the receipt, which was his justification for needing a page of info before swiping my card. Interface works great by the way.

Bought the most expensive golden cable with a lifetime warranty. No longer honored by them. Washed their hands of it. Contact the manufacturer they said. But they’re happy to sell you the newest gold lifetime warranty cable With lifetime in store trade if faulty?Go kick rocks.
