I went there today with my prescription from my Dr. I didn’t like any the frames there. I believe Mark helped me. He was the only person i saw there working. I described to him the type of frame i was looking for and he quickly found three that were exactly what I was wanting. Mark had mentioned the special on the two pair they were having but i really only needed one. I took pictures of the frames on me and my friend helped me pick one. So i ended up just getting one pair which was in the half off deal they had. The frames are super cute and i cant wait to get them. Mark said he would call me when they were in, which was about two weeks. I thought the price was a good deal, better than my Dr by far. And the sales man was very helpful and told me everything about the glasses and lenses that we chose.

Dr. Patel is very caring for her patients but the two men who were there today at 4pm need some serious customer service training. I have been to many states and countries due to being military and never for an eye exam have I ever been treated so disrespectfully as I did in this place. Will never go back. I really hope Dr. Patel funds a new place to work because she deserves a great team.

A scam. Run in the other direction, any direction. My 2 pair for 99.00 became barely 1 pair for 300! That's with 50.00 frames. Yeah.....

Called and spoke with someone regarding my son's prescription and was told they were going to pull up his records, so that we could purchase a new pair of glasses from him. When my wife arrived the next day, the staff acted as if she was disturbing them by asking for service. They said that my son would need to have a new examination due to the fact that "the records did not transfer over" from when they moved from Sears to JCPenney. Which completely opposite of what I was told on the phone. My wife and I are very upset by the service we received, it was a giant waste of time. Needless to say we will not be going back to JCPenney Optical again....

The service here is bad. Mark told me my insurance didn't cover as much as as really did. When the glasses came in they weren't made right an my wife couldn't see close up with them, which is what she needed them for. We wanted them remade and gave back the expensive frames, and used a pair we already had. They sent them out and two weeks later and they still have not received them. Then after having them check they told me they broke the lens and had to re-do them again. Two more weeks go by and still no glasses. Then they called and said they were shipped and they should have them today or the next day, and they would call me as soon as they came in. That was 3 days ago and still no call. Just called them again, and they said they had them. What happen to I will call you as soon as they come in? in total I waited about 7 weeks to get these glasses, and until I pick them up tomorrow, I don't if they made them right or not. The Eye Doctor is great, but get your glasses somewhere else. 1 star is the lowest I can go, otherwise I would put - 1.

Glasses are falling apart they fixed them about a week after I got them then two months later the same thing happened and the guy that runs the place told me too sad to bad he wasn't going to fix them again the lens keeps popping out he fixed it last time took him five minutes this time I guess it wasn't worth his time going somewhere else next time my glasses weren't cheap cost me around $300.

Recently visited for an eye appointment and as soon as i arrived I immediately felt like i was on a used car lot. It was the set up, the representatives, the dress code, the way they were going about and handling things. The representatives appeared to be trying to get me in and out and not really answering my questions or not interested enough in understanding what i was hoping for.

Things have changed drastically now that Nationwide has taken over the JCP Optical. They have discontinued my favorite frames and prices are up significantly.
