I remember shopping at JC Penney with my mom when I was younger and it was such a nice store. They have went downhill since then. Now when you walk in the store it immediately smells like an old attic with mothballs and the floors are stained and dirty.

Horrible experience at the house section, had the salesperson following me at the store, approached me several times asking me for help but wouldn’t even give me any suggestions with some curtains I was looking to exchange. Finally made it to the register and there she was, I was looking to exchange some curtains that I had bought last week but a different color and she wanted to charge me full price when they were the same price, some nasty attitude there.Some people are just miserable and have no people manners. I had to get the manager involved due to her incompetency and rudeness. Manager did the exchange with no issues whatsoever.

Amazingly bad service 😡
It’s a shame to give the whole store a bad review, but the management can’t possibly approve of this. This is only about a woman named June at the jewelry counter. She did not even look up when I asked her about a return w/out receipt. So I asked again. June told me the best thing to do was FIND THE RECEIPT, well, duh!! Then I asked June if she could look it up on my account (charged to my JCP card). This time June totally ignored me, never looked at me again and moved away. I kept waiting about 1/2 a minute, then I said ok and walked away. Never a word from June. Shame on her.

Paid in full for a watch 200. And was charged 230 which includes a warranty I had already said I didn't want. Assistant could have refunded me the cost of the warranty and it would have been fine but she cancelled the whole order and then asked me to pay again. Now I have NO WATCH AND NO MONEY. Then the MANAGER reply to the situation is either you pay 400 dollars for a 200 watch and get a comment from the manager. WE ARE NOT YOUR BANK. No WATCH STOLE MY MONEY AND CANT BUY CHRISTMAS. THANKS JC PENNEY
