I feel so lucky to have found Kermit. I recently purchased a 25 year old Jaguar that was in need of some repairs. Kermit and his wife are wonderful people. Kermit is honest and highly skilled. My car is running flawlessly. His hourly rate is commensurate with his skill level but, in this case, you get what you pay for - a smart, talented mechanic with integrity. I took a Lyft to pick up my car. He repaired one of the driver's cars! I kid you not! He is busy so you will need to schedule a few weeks out but he is well worth the wait.

Dropped my car off several months ago and have not been able to speak with Kermit since. I have called several times, left messages with the secretary and yet no one will return my call and let me know what’s going on with my car. I will be dropping by there office soon to find out in person what the problem is.

My van was fixed, 3 hours worth of work, charging the battery took most that time. We had a blown fuse, final bill was $550.00! Absolutely ridiculous! I work for the fire service and am going to send a message on our Facebook page to let as many people know how we were taken advantage of, that is going to to go over 600 people not including every other forum I can find to spread the word! We didn’t even get a phone call telling us what the issue was and how much it was going to cost.Service: Electrical

Very nice Father and Son operation across the street from my paint and body guy cars by Hanes you can see Barry the big boss! And then the hard worker Danny is the Sun is going to take over dad's business one day? Two guys very experienced and the Art of paint and body work. It is really hard to find people now or should I say companies that truly care about their work and their customers.!!

My vehicle requires a special computer to reset the timing. When I called Kermit's, the guy on the phone assured me they have the computer and could do the timing. The earliest appointment was two weeks later. When I arrived for the appointment, the guy behind the desk told me they would have to tear everything apart. Thankfully, Scally's in Dunnellon had the computer and was able to do the job.

Kermit's fixes cars that everyone else (including the dealer) say are not able to be fixed. He does amazing work with electronics in vehicles. This type of work isn't cheap (parts and equipment necessary for the job are expensive), but Kermit's is less expensive than the dealer, and you know that your are getting treated fairly. Highly recommended.

My truck has a 7.4L Vortec motor that requires a computer to adjust the timing. When I called to set up an appointment, the guy on the phone assured me that they had the equipment and was told "we'll take care of you." I waited a couple of weeks for the appointment. When I get there, the guy behind the counter tells me they need to take everything apart to check this and to check that. I was disgusted. Fortunately I found a place in Dunnellon to do the job. They didn't have to take it apart and my vehicle runs great.
