I went there because I expected a LOT more from Lenscrafters...I had my eye exam, the Dr was ok (not too friendly). When I went to the glasses side only one of the girls was nice, the one I had never gave me a smile nor was helpful at all, I ask her opinion twice and it was like she didn't care. I never knew they had a 50% off on a second pair because she never offered it, I found out after the 30 days. And btw she was the manager, what a great way to sell...
Love my Target optical in Gainesville, they DO know about customer service!

Let’s compare Lens Crafters (LC) to Eye Glass world (EW). Both are 5 star locations. LC has a superior eye exam center with much better equipment. The price is the same for exams just over $100. EW has a better price for custom lenses I typically spend $600 for two vrs $900 for two at LC. EW has a much better turn around time typically 5 days vrs over 2 weeks at LC. LC has more designer brands but both have the most important one: Rayban. Speaking of Rayban at this time EW cannot do prescription meta glasses but LC can. In my honest opinion the employees at EW are just a tad more professional and really motivated to educate you on all your options whereas the LC employees are a little too relaxed and don’t have that same drive you better know what you want or need.

I ordered my sunglasses. 2 weeks later, went to pick them up and was told they couldn't be made because my prescription couldn't be used in a curved lens, then I pi ked another design, 2 weeks later same thing. Don't they know what style can be done with what prescription??????

I was a walk-in coming to purchase frames n lenses. Ramon did an excellent job of explaining where to find the frames to choose from, and the different types of lenses for my Rx. He checked on me a few times while I was looking for frames, even though he had other customers. Patient and excellent service! Very pleased.

Joy was amazing! I came in with the intent of getting quotes for the 3 different lens options I had been given. She happily provided the quotes with my insurance and with their in-store sale that was going on. Turns out I got a set of frames that I actually like as well as the progressive lenses that the doctor recommended. She wasn’t pushy at all, merely patient and educational.

A large selection of frames and eyeglasses. Very friendly, personable employees who are professional and work hard to ensure you pay the least amount. There is no upselling, which is rare nowadays.

We worked with Leeanna, Lead Eyecare Advisor at LensCrafters. She was great! Helpful, funny, professional & very efficient! I'm looking forward to seeing her again.
I like the new look inside, LemsCrafters much bigger & room to roam.

Went in with my scheduled appointment to see dr. Blade. Tracy then took us back to get some tests done,Our first impression was that she was very in personable, unsympathetic, and robotic… mind you this was an appointment for my 9 year old, she expressed she was afraid of the machine and instead of comforting her she complained expressively in front of my daughter she was not staying still and treated us like another number and another person on the waitlist to just “get done, and get out” type attitude, she didn’t warn my 9 year old daughter about any steps that were about to occur and so the “puff of air” surprised her and scared her. Causing either a foreign object or even an eye lash to penetrate the eye, and she was crying, so I decided to remove my daughter from that traumatic situation, when we walked out to the front desk lady there was also another doctor, instead of comforting my child Tracy immediately went to the receptionist and said “they need a refund”, and then looked at the next in line, and called them into the room we had just been in …
We will never be going back to this LensCrafters, they need to retrain and even rehire employees that accommodate for kids, which is stated that they do on their website, but after my experience, they don’t have the patience or “equipment” for children.
I had spoke to Hannah the manager and she just tried to get details of the situation since she was not available at the time of the incident so I had to call them to speak with her. She honestly was no help at all other than making sure the actual machine didn’t hurt my daughter and it was just the employee that was lacking..
Do better …

The team here was very helpful in helping me select the frames best for me. That is always a challenge for me, but they were so patient, kind and knowledgeable. They also worked on getting me the best deal. Thank you all.
