“Woman working in the morning is the nicest and most kind woman ever. Really makes my day start off great when I get to see her smile before work. Guy in morning is so nice and helpful, very funny and polite. The guy working at night is rude, hateful and will insult you any chance he can. Says he doesn't understand English very well but has no issue being rude. And the guy who cleans is most definitely a drug addict or meth head. Talks about people stalking him and cops following him with drones. He follows people in store and is racist 100%. Owner needs to get rid of bad employees and get more of the nice lady in there. I'll only go from now on when she's there.”

“Great Manager. Was there today. Got the box of fried chicken wings and wanted coleslaw and potato salad to go with it. These two items have always been the Achilles heal for me. The cole slaw is the worst, and the potato salad is 60% potato, 40% mayo, and has always been thus.”

“We recently hosted a neighborhood social event. We decided to provide the entrée of fried chicken pieces. We shopped around for prices for 150 pieces. We tried Lee's Famous Recipe, Popeye's, and Publix, even though we had never tried Publix chicken. Lee's, our favorite, said $195. I could never get a straight answer from Popeye's even though I tried two different locations. Lastly, Publix gave us a price of $125. We scurried down to Publix to see if we liked their chicken, so we bought three pieces (leg, thigh, and breast) and they were delicious, so we made Publix our choice. We ordered our chicken several days in advance and it was ready to go at the appointed day and time. At our little gathering the Publix chicken was a hit! Good going Publix!!”

Quality - and their sister location - came through for me when I was hunting all over Ocala, Gainesville and even Tampa for a stellar chocolate rum called SelvaRey. Spoke with the owner who confirmed he carries SelvaRey, but not the chocolate flavor. To my joyful surprise, he rang me back a short while later to say he had located Chocolate in the stock room and then conveniently transferred it from his other store himself to Quality Wine, which was closer to my location.I visited Quality the next day and was SO IMPRESSED with the selection and prices. Try this shop, if you haven't yet. The selection will impress and the service is impeccable!”

“I felt the need to state that this store is the best in town. The prices are good and their stock is plentiful. But most important is that the owner is a consumate gentleman. He is extremely welcoming to his establishment. His help is equally knowledgeable and respectful to customers. I would not think of Shopping anywhere else..the people here are that nice and understanding...compared to ny pricing this place is extremely reasonable...I am so happy and glad I met this wonderful establishment. “I cannot say enough about how great Sanjay and Paris are. My husband and I went in looking for some specific items, and unfortunately, they did not carry them. However, after a short conversation, Sanjay offered to place a special order for the tequila I was looking for. He even negotiated on the price with me a bit! That was on a Friday. I got a call 3-4 days later and Paris told me that my order was in! Wow, what great customer service. Needless to say, they have won my business and Liquor King is now my “go to”, favorite liquor store.”

“On my way back from Perry, Florida, on highway 27, I happened to spot Liquor Solutions. Often when I travel I stop at smaller non- franchise liquor stores to find hard to get Burbon. What a find. They have what may be the best selection in Florida. One surprise was, Pappy, Blanton and Boss Hog. I purchased a bottle of Willett. The price points are a little higher but worth it for the time you save traveling around looking.”

“This store on Maricamp Rd. in the Shores is the best one around--cleaner, better stocked, nice staff (several have been here for years!) It fits in with the neighborhood shopping picture in that they have some things that aren't the same as the others (their Deluxe American cheese is better than anybody's store brand.) Every week they have some meat items on sale, and their own brands like Tipton Grove real OJ are things I usually take home. Their large canned soup varieties are good also. This particular store has pretty good produce--esp the yellow and zucchini squash. Their own brand of eggs also good and inexpensive. I like shopping at this Sav-a-Lot.”

“I live a few miles from a Winn Dixie that is old & it shows. Today I stopped in a large bright beautiful store in Lady Lake. Florida. I'm not sure which store I went into since there are multiple Winn Dixies in The Villages. Anyway I had a few items that I needed. As I was looking at the produce area I came across a beautiful display. I found out one very nice woman working there created this masterpiece through her own imagination. Here name is Tammy. “Marion Liquor is by no means your large fancy place for wines and spirits. I came across this liquor store with a search for a specific item, that is not from this part of the country. Marion liquor came up as the place to try. So I did.It was an easy off and easy on access to Marion Liquor from 301, without having to turn around or such. The parking lot was small, as is the building that houses the store. But it is a very colorful blue color.Once inside, the gentleman behind the counter was friendly and quite helpful. I told him what I was looking for. He knew exactly where it was, down to the shelf it was located on. So I grabbed a few bottles, as well as some other bottles to accompany them. I do not buy these beverages all that often. So I decided to stock up since Marion liquor did have the special item that I came for.The man behind the counter took the time to paper bag each individual bottle to protect them from each other, as well as double bag the carrying bags that held multiple bottles.I found my visit to be quite pleasant. This was kind of an out of the way trip for me. So this would not be my normal place for these types of purchases. But if near by, I wouldn't think twice about stopping in again.”
