Came in early morning. They went over what was wrong. Even had a guy quit his shift. But the manager stepped in to help the guys in the back. Very polite and let you know what was going on

The worker was beyond rude.I went in for an alignment(which wasn’t done correctly) and was told on the phone that “I don’t HAVE to look at your truck” and was blamed MULTIPLE times for “having the wrong parts in the truck.Which doesn’t make sense because you can’t put 3500 parts in a 1500 overall terrible experience.

Everyone here was absolutely amazing! I came in with a flat tire and feeling extremely anxious. They took care of the tire repair extremely quick and I made it to work on time! I may have my breaks done here as well.

These are At Your Own Risk Mechanics with limited knowledge of what they were taught to do supposedly anytime you are doing one Job to not do the same job cause you didn’t want to up the price of the Bill when the Customer is Paying already stop the backwards Business and just inform the Customers you are Bad Business Period not that it’s the Customer fault for paying your Bills.

Lovely experience, staff is so kind and friendly, they found the most efficient and cost effective solution for the problems my car was having and did a wonderful job at explaining everything in a way that I could understand. Will be going back to them for all my vehicles needs!

The service I received at Pep Boys was outstanding! Jose assisted me with my vehicle issues. He explained in detail the work I need to get my vehicle back on the road. I will be returning to Pep Boys for future services.

I had my brake pads changed here. Immediately after the brakes were clunking. I took it back the next day and they made it better. They still have a small clunk and now they claim the rotors are bad. It was not clunking before taking it here and I think they damaged the rotors and don’t want to admit it or pay for it. My car is only 2 years old.

I was a bit reluctant about having ANY work done to my brother-in-law's Nissan Versa due to a very poor experience I (we) tolerated in Gainesville's Pep Boys on Newberry Rd. However, after stopping on the suggestion of the Gainesville store's management "team" I found Jose, (the College Rd. locations' manager) to be knowledgeable, sympathetic, and customer driven. He took his time and explained in layman's terms exactly what he thought the problem was. Although the problem is apparently being caused by a Nissan-specific part it remains unresolved but at least after several hours of checking the wiring of the vehicle Jose was able to pinpoint the source of the malfunction. It was because of Jose's demeanor and determined effort that I returned to the College Rd. location on Friday, the 14th of February, to have two jobs performed. I am completely and surprisingly satisfied with the performance and services received for the costs paid. I do not hesitate at all to recommend this location for mechanical services.

Standing outside a locked door for 45 minutes after they've supposively been open. I got dropped off, it's chilly, and I'm pissed. Do not come at 7am if you need to pick up your vehicle.

Would NOT recommend this place to anyone. Brought my car in to replace brake pads/rotors. Brakes started making noise soon after having my car back. Took it back for what was supposedly a “simple fix” which obviously didn’t end up being the fix since the noise came back again. This was after they pushed off the appointment several times; even though they were the ones that told me the best time to come in. I’m assuming since they’re not making money off of the fix they didn’t want to prioritize it. Brakes started being noisy AGAIN and dropped it off again, and now they won’t answer my calls or give me any updates. Poor quality work, communication, etc. Would not recommend to anyone.

I went to get an oil change and 4 tires. The next morning I leaving for a trip and was merging on to the interstate when the skid plate under my car came loose and started dragging the ground. The skid plate that covers the oil pan. I had to drive 20mph to get to a rest area so that I wouldn't be hit by a semi on the side on the interstate. Pep Boys sent a tow truck to take me back to the shop and as the car was getting put on the truck I noticed that the tires in the car were not the ones I paid for. They were in fact $50 less that the tires I paid for. When I get back to Pep boys and let Jose know the issue, all I got was attitude like I was the one that did something wrong. Them having to replace the tires made me miss the trip I had to take. During the replacement of the tires they broke one of my lugnut caps off. When I let Jose know, he again came with attitude saying that caps get broke all the time. After telling him that I have tire shop experience and I know that the caps only come off due to mechanic error he replaced the lug nut. After finishing they pulled my car out and I inspected the tires like I should've the night before. I came to find that one of the tires was installed on the wrong side. They are directional tires and have inside/outside labels on the sidewall. I informed Jose once again and had to wait another 45 minutes to get that tire fixed. After spending 2 hours to the oil change and tires the day before, I spent another 4 hours today for them to fix all of there issues. I WILL NEVER GO BACK TO THE PEP BOYS ON SW COLLEGE ROAD OCALA FL!

This store was terrible
I went to do oil change
It took 2 hrs then I tried to check the oil level after they finished i found it need one more quarter
They came and put it then they told me they will refill all other fluids but they never did it however I paid in advance
I don’t recommend it to anybody plus the employee was rude to me
They wasted my time and my money for bad service
