At first this pharmacy was great, the techs seem nice, but after a couple bad experiences I plan to switch to another pharmacy. First issue was a particular medication that I've been getting for years no problem. Go to pick it up here and counted the boxes to see I was short one box. The pharmacist came to tell me that the numbers didn't add up and that's why I was short a box but they never bothered to tell me this or clarify with my doctor to make sure I was getting my 90 day supply. Had I not counted the boxes I wouldn't have known! When I expressed concerns about not having all 90 days the pharmacist proceeded to tell me "it's only 2 days short and we could lose a lot of money if we gave you the other box and we can't split a box" but I could have a horrible allergic reaction if I go that long without it! Left that day a box short feeling like money mattered more than my health! Second incident was right after I had surgery. My doctor prescribed some pain medication and after this last experience I decided to call to make sure I could pick them up when I was discharged because I live far from town. The tech told me they needed clarification on the script because of my insurance and then said the pharmacist wanted to talk to me. The same pharmacist gets on the phone and tells me to "have the script sent to a local pharmacy to get it" but they are the local pharmacy which I told her and said I'm coming there to pick it up in a couple hours. I show up and they tell me the doctor called to correct the script but hadn't sent it in yet and they hadn't called them back to get it! They kept saying "oh the doctors office was probably on a long lunch." I called the doctor and they answered and sent the script right away yet the pharmacy staff kept saying they didnt have it. Im in obvious pain and that same pharmacist kept telling me "go sit in your car and wait, it's going to take 30 mins or have it sent to a local pharmacy. " Then she tells the tech who was working on it to go to lunch!! She had zero empathy for what i was going through and I ended up leaving without it! I had a horrible night of pain and the next day I suffered because of her! I plan to follow up with publix management but feel people need to know!

I submit my prescriptions in advance and have them far enough out. I don’t want them filled same day if I ask for them to be filled on a different day. And then don’t question when I say I don’t need a med immediately as I wanted it filled on a different day. Please stop filling them before they are requested to be filled!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I wouldn't give any stars if I didn't have to. Horrible attitude by cashier, never shopping there again. No lanes open but hers, sign on lane saying " This lane closed", she acted like she didn't want to take me, 3 items!!! And no " My Pleasure"..... WTH. Called manager.....NEVER SHOPPING THERE AGAIN!!!!

Absolutely horrible. Not only is the staff rude, but the actual pharmacists downright lie to the customers. Went to pick up my prescription which I get filled every three months was told since it was a controlled substance had to be prescribed by a Doctor in Ocala a local doctor. My doctor is in Orlando of nine years. I just moved here last July to Ocala didn’t want to change doctors, So I go to Orlando every three months for my appointments. Pharmacist also told me she didn’t even have the medication in the store. Spoke to other pharmacist at the surrounding Publix pharmacy’s in Ocala and was told this is not a Publix policy and they found it very surprising that the medication was not available in the store being that, it’s a very common pain medication. Also, the other Publix pharmacist told me to have it transferred to their store. They would gladly fill it with no problem. Pharmacist can obviously look at my account. I’ve been a customer of Publix pharmacy for many years and see I don’t abuse the medication. Made me feel like a drug addict on top of lying to me.

Ohhhh where to start here….. Tanya the supposed pharmacy manager is a JOKE! She noted her assistant supposedly spoke to me which he did NOT. I get a certain med filled here currently cause it is cost effective for me. I called another Publix pharmacy and they said there is NO reason she should not be filling it and it didn’t make sense. This medication can not be transferred and this lady is a down right b&@&h! I will NEVER give public pharmacy my business again EVER! I would rather pay twice as much than to ever deal with this pharmacist again. Please Publix do better in your pharmacy staff!

Ashley in the pharmacy could not have been more rude and abrasive when my husband and I came in for our boosters. We will not drop a dime in that store.

Extremely rude and just abrasive staff. They're so mean and it's the worst customer service I've ever gotten. You'd think they worked at Checkers fast food instead of an actual pharmacy. I do not recommend

Went in thru drive in pharmace pick up.. Picked up prescription that was 2 days late..No call. Little girl at window is real snippy. If this was back in my days wefire someone like that andthrow them out back

Great customer service and always helpful! You have to remember how busy these people are and try to stay safe as well. They are doing the best job possible under all these circumstances. We are need to be polite to all these people that are on the front line!
