I'm guessing it was managers who were making things harder for the workers but I applaud the workers I didn't get the lady name but she's tried her hardest but she seems overworked and gaten Ohio sorry if I didn't spell your name right. But he was the only worker at the register at 5:30 with a line very long and no management helping until people were getting upset. Them two workers need a raise and an apology

Came into Rose's to get some blouses/tops to go with my new jeans....
Well, my friend and I filled our buggy/shopping cart up
I went to get a key for the dressing room.
I seen that the Sales Associate was on the phone, but as I walked up to her, she put her hand up , basically in my face
Turned around to finish her call
When she was done... She walked away... I followed saying "Excuse me, excuse me"
She clearly ignored me
Well... we left the Cart... Full of shirts... and left
Very Sad how this person Ruined a BIG SALE!!!
Just by being Extremely Rude

Customer service is horrible when asked for help sale associate stood and watch me move heavy boxes to search for the color tarp i was seeking.one cashier on Saturday no one helped her with her line people had buggies full. there is no restrooms available to customers because they have to clean it sales associate stated it was upper management decision to lock restrooms off to customers because of a incident from another customer prior to this day. Do you understand your in a area that serves elder people who do need to occasionally use restroom during their shopping experience. My family spends alot of money in Rose'sI would appreciate feedback from upper managementWe drive over a hour to shop your store.Retail is my career choice 40 years plus still working and still have great customer service valueThanks for taking time to read my review

Visited to inquire about my paper application that I was unsure if a manager had received yet and was directed to an employee named Melissa. She was very unprofessional and extremely rude, saying she has "no idea when she will get to my application but assured me she received it even before i had given her my name. I asked when i can expect a reply even if it took a week or two, she shook her head and huffed and puffed. She was clearly annoyed but I remained polite and decided to inform corporate. All I was asking for was a little reassurance since it was a paper application, not online. After dealing with a rude employee with a very unprofessional attitude I have chosen to accept another retail store job offer because i can't imagine working for a manager that can't even be polite. For certain this will effect how I view and recommend this roses location. After reading some of these reviews, I see it's not just me who has had an issue with Melissa. Thank you for your time and patience :)

We stumbled across this Roses Discount Store when in the plaza/mall or whatever one would call the shopping center, for other reasons. I have never heard of them before, but we decided to check them out. It was a fairly large store. They had a decent amount of shopping carts inside and were not overly busy. The store seemed clean. There were workers rotating seasonal items on one end of the store. My impression is pretty much what they are. They are kind of a cross between a dollar store, and lower cost retailer. Most of the items are not what anyone would consider high dollar/ high quality merchandise. Some items are definitely of questionable quality. Others are quite decent. But the prices are reflective compared to some other bigger name stores. Plus a lot of items are the same brand that a lot of times, cost more in the bigger name stores.Roses reminds me of a place like Big Lot's, which is also near by. But they do have their differences as well. I do not know about Roses return policies or any service related questions, so I will not comment on them. Roses has a little of everything. Food to furniture, clothing to Christmas, and then some. Some of the isles are on the narrow side. Some of them are only going to accommodate one carts width. So there might be no passing. But the isles are shorter than some stores. So it wasn't really a problem to go around if needed. But there are some larger areas and isles that are much larger. We did buy a few items. The prices we paid were quite reasonable. And I'll even say, probably quite a bit less than a lot of other stores. But again, they were functional and decent. But they were not high dollar, high quality items. Just decent and functional at a good price. And that's why we visited Roses and made a purchase.

I Drove All This Way To The Other End Of Town To Compare Roses Stores, Just To Find Out That They Don’t Have Any Mobile Chairs. Oh Well, I Guess It’s Walmart. I Wish So Much That I Didn’t Need One.Note: The Store On 14th Ave. Is Great! They Have One Mobile Chair & Employees Always Polite & Helpful. I Give Them 5 Stars. I Only Wanted To Try A Different Locations To See If They Had The Same Merchandise.

Great store with lots of bargains. The store is clean and the staff always says hello when I walk in, unlike Lowes. They have a good variety of things and are very convenient for people living in the area such as otow. They also offer 10% off on Wednesday if you're over 55 which I certainly appreciate, no other business offers that. Finally the reviewers that gave low stars are being very unfair to this store, I have been shopping there since they opened and always had a good experience, check it out for yourself.

We went here to find a few things, and I must say there was a lot of bargains. The store was clean and well-organized. It did look like they needed to restock the children's clothes because there wasn't much to choose from in the boys department.I found everything I needed and a few things I didn't know I was going to buy. Employees was friendly and helpful. I found the bathroom to be clean but the handicap stall sink was not working. Two of the other sinks was not working. The bathroom could definitely need a paint job.In conclusion I feel it does need some improvements in the bathroom area and the children department, but it is a good place to find some bargains. We will be going back sometime and I hope it will continue to improve.

Staff is rude and should be clear on return policies. Store must make a fortune making up rules as they go. I'll spend my money at Big Lots.

left the Ocala location and wanted to share my experience. I searched online for store hours only to find this location closed earlier upon arrival. The store manager Melissa waited at the entrance to inform all customers the store was closed. I approached closer since she pretty much yelled it across the parking lot to see what the hours said on the door. She then proceeded to say, like we are closed now ma'am. I explained the website said it was later, she said oh OK ma'am. I said well you guys should fix that as a duty to your clients. She said well we are closed now and the hours were wrong. I proceeding to ask her for name and explained that to her that she was condensending. I said to her that I'm in HR and anyone who treated a customer like this would be fired. She said oh your in HR, I have you on camera too. I'm not sure what her aim was but my point is she was rude, condescending and not listening to the customer. Never will return again! Please forward my comments to your department, no one should be treated this way. Melissa the manager is not fit to manage.

Was in line. But the register light was off, and the light was on at the register next line over with 2 associates there but no customers. My mother asks if they're open. One of the associates makes my mom feel stupid for asking and looks over at the associate and says loudly why are people in a hurry on Sundays. Very meanly and rudely. We were not in a hurry. At all. Their light was on. The line we were in was off. That's it. My mom is the sweetest lady you could ever meet. Beware of the tall lady with a little longer than shoulder length black hair. All other employees are pleasant and kind.
