My recent visit to the Salvation Army Store in Ocala left much to be desired. First I want to start off that I am a loyal Salvation Army store member for years, and have been going to other stores throughout Florida and have never experienced treatment and service like the one here in Ocala Fl.Many items being sold in the store do not have a label for pricing, or even prior records for their pricing. When staff is questioned about the pricing of a particular item, the staff arbitrarily hikes up prices without providing any valid explanation or historical pricing records for the associated item. The manager and employees displayed rudeness and unprofessionalism when asked about the pricing differences found on their items. Encountering such blatant unprofessionalism and discourtesy towards customers was deeply disheartening. I strongly advise to be aware and cautious of pricing at this branch for their items, and look everywhere around the item for the original price tag!Quite Frankly I will take my business elsewhere, somewhere where they appreciate their customers spending their hard earned money.

They charge way too much for stuff that’s donated to them. We’re in the middle of inflation and the price raise is extremely unnecessary. I will go other places.

Nice little store, and neatly organized. I'm not crazy about how they rush everyone out sometimes, so they can close before 4pm, instead of AT 4pm like their sign says. Still, like any good thrift store, you'll find some good deals, and old school gems on occasion.

Went into this location because it’s right in between two phenomenal thrift stores. They have raised the prices. Which is reasonable. What is not reasonable is the up charge for plus sizes and big man sized clothing. So if you’re fat, be prepared to pay extra.

Exceptionally CLEAN & ORGANIZED. But the Shockingly Overpriced USED & DONATED furniture will cause me to never return. I'm sorry. But, it's the truth. Most of the furniture was in Great Shape, however, my mother & I didn't expect to see a hefty price tag attached.

I assume new management took over... Lady wouldn't sell me a glass cat figurine item in the display case.. not good for business. I came here almost daily and this was my first time back in since the remodel. I spent thousands here. I will not be returning ever again.. it's a thrift store not a museum!!! It's designed to raise money for the salvation army. Well apparently they don't need it! No doubt she's holding it for a friend...

We bought 2 mattresses labeled "twin" on Saturday for $90 to set up a new kids room for a foster child. When we got home, we found out they were XL Twins. The lady at the register wrote the tag numbers down with the same "twin" label and gave us only a credit card receipt when we purchased. Because she didn't give us a register receipt, Manager Steve won't refund the $90 without it. But according to him, it is our fault we didn't measure the mattress labeled twin. A twin is a twin and a XL California Twin is a XL California Twin. I know they are a non profit, but I am talking $90 for 2 large mislabeled items, not some $5 shirts. Manager Steve offered 75% off another item for our troubles when we gave the mattresses back to them on their next day open on Tuesday (today), as a donation I guess, but I am not donating or buying from this store ever again.

This location was clean and well organized. Well done. Their prices were so good and they were having a half off everything in the store sale. Got everything we needed for our Nativity scene.

Is nice place to buy, but some items are over pricing, because they get 100% free stuff to resale

My elderly parents are moving out of state to be closer to family and had a house full of furniture and household goods they didn't want to take. We scheduled a truck to pick everything up, and Dave and Troy showed up on time and were so helpful. They loaded everything carefully and made sure not to damage floors or walls when they were moving big items. They were both friendly and professional and had everything done in 2 1/2 hours. We very much appreciated their hard work.
