*My review is not for this branch but for Truist online banking. Do NOT transfer your money to Truist if you ever want to move it again! They messed up my verification of an external account so bad that I couldn't even delete the account! They sent an email saying it failed, but it did NOT. It went through! It's screwed up so bad that now I can't transfer my money out of a zero interest checking account until they get around to fixing it. Believe the low ratings!

Worst bank ever. Sun trust was great…my bank t d is amazing. We had to freeze my dad’s account because he had fraud and all of his accounts are frozen. He’s in the hospital cannot get out. Meanwhile they make it mandatory to have an in bank visit to reopen your account. I went there and gave all my power of attorney information meanwhile they forgot the last page I was supposed to sign and I live five hours away from my father and now I’ve got to drive five hours one way and five hours back to come back and get this rectified to see if possibly that will open up his account. His rent is due. Everything is due worst bank ever

Sunday morning, I have plenty of money in both my accounts, and my cards are declined everywhere. Truist is closed, I can’t access my money. I can’t do the numerous things I need to today now. Trash!

I'd give it 0 or negative stars if I could. Got an email from Truist Bank for a bonus offer if I I opened a checking account with them and made direct deposits from my employer over a certain dollar amount & the bonus was $400. I called Truist Bank several times, but no answer, so I drove to the bank & was met Sonia who immediately told me they'd be closing in 15 minutes. She was annoyed to help and it was clear. Then I opened up the email I had received and also showed her the promotion code as well. Little did I know, she started the process and put in another code that she claimed was the same thing. Turns out, had she put in the promo code I had in the email, it would have shown for opening an online bank account only. So, two day later she calls me and tells me that I didn't qualify for the promo because not only did she enter the wring promo, but the promo I had in the email, was for online only & since she already set up an account, I'm no longer a new customer and do not qualify for the $400 bonus. You wanna talk about straight up fraud and negligence. The case has been escalated and if they do not honor the promo that Sonia screwed up, I will make sure everyone knows to steal clear of Truist Bank. This is shady b.s. that Sonia pulled. They need to honor the promo she screwed up! Make it right #TruistBankOcalaFlirida

After the switch from Suntrust to Truist in February 2022, I've been disappointed with the changes in multiple ways. I've moved on to another financial institute and am having great success! I still have some monies at Truist (only until I've been with my new financial institute a bit longer). My online experience with my new institution is a more user friendly program!

I've called this bank multiple times and no one answers. What kind of customer service is this. I work a 9 to 5 job I cant come during yalls hours the least you can do is answer a phone call.

Im really not liking the new Truist bank. I'm getting charges I wouldn't have ever gotten with SunTrust. Extremely disappointed and I will be switching banks.

Never get an answer when I call, always over an hour wait via phone. Customer service sucks. My mom went into the branch and was given false info. I’m glad I’m over with this bank!!!!

This bank is ridiculous. Trying to cash a check and they wont even speak with the owner of the business that owns the check. The teller Shivani and the blonde lady are no help! The branch leader finally overrode it after speaking to the originating bank manager. Wasted one hour at the bank today. I will be contacting corporate but wanted to start here.

There were no customers in the drive thru or in the branch when I arrived and I waited 45 minutes to be helped before I gave up and left. I spoke to the teller and they asked me to wait but I was not given a waiting time or a reason why I wasn’t helped when there were no other customers in the building. I’m not sure what the problem was but I will not be returning to this branch.

Im really not liking the new Truist bank. I'm getting charges I wouldn't have ever gotten with SunTrust. Extremely disappointed and I will be switching banks.

Suntrust is the worst bank I’ve ever had to deal with. They are terrible assisting in business accounts, and definitely are not client friendly. Suntrust gives no explanation for procedures they implement pertaining to the money in your account (withdraws, deposits, checks, holds, etc). If you prefer to work with a bank that’s not a constant headache I’d recommend you take your money and business somewhere else.
