Additional update - I called corporate on 12/23 to file a formal complaint. The regional manager gave me a call. He was very understanding, and he is coming up with a resolution. I will Update my review as things progress.
Update - I went to the location on 12/22 and they redid the coolant flush. The issue is, during the flush, it appears that I had dirty and grime near the sealant of my water pump valve and the coolant flush must have removed the dirt and caused my water pump to leak. The issue now. I had no issues at all before this, now I am told the repair will cost over 3k. when calling mechanics and it takes two days to fix I ended up getting a new car last night and not dealing with the issue. I am happy with my new car but I wish I knew the risk before getting this service done. My advice and lessons. I will only go to the dealership going forward for an oil change and services. I have been going to take 5 for years but after this, I can't trust going back because of the information that not provided to me. After the coolant flush, the agents did show me the leak and it was major to me, I wish they did more to help me or reimburse me for the services. a routine maintenance job caused me a more issues and stress.
I really want to have a conversation with the owner...My work was done by Chris and Mac and I have been going to this location for 5 years. on 12/18/25 I got my oil changed and everything was fine as normal... However, it was recommended to get a coolant flush and I decided to do it. I never had any issues with my car and I take care of if. Today, I was driving and my car ran hot. I never had any issues like this. Not enough coolant was put in the car most likely due to what I now know as air pockets. this is unacceptable, I trusted the location to do the work and I paid full price. nothing was explained to me after I got the work done. I was asked to run the heater on high for 5min which i did. This is not enough time... I am writing this review and keeping a paper trail just incase I have any damage because of this. I cant trust this location anymore. Today 12/21 around 12:05pm I went and seen the manager that did the coolant flush and he added the coolant. (Chris and Mac were the staff on duty) however, when I arrived, and popped the hood, we did not see coolant, he slowly turned the top and the coolant started to refill itself however after several minutes very little was remaining. I parked in front of the cameras for video proof of the incident. I turned on the heater for maybe 10-20min and he topped it off and I left. I went home and when I got home maybe 10min later, I checked and seen that the level decreased. I went back to the store and he added more. I am still not 100 percent comfortable that everything is ok with my vehicle. Something needs to be done to ensure that my vehicle is ok. I don't want to come back every day to top off the coolant, something needs to be done or the work needs to be redone to ensure that everything is ok. I will be back in the morning. I will like to note that both staff were friendly and helpful , my issue is my car. I would like to talk with the owner.

My experience at this place (Take 5) was a great experience. I was greeted very politely & was offered a cold bottle of water. I told the associate what I needed & he & his team did exactly that. At the end of the experience I was thanked for coming in. Take 5 provides the best service & oil changing experience that a customer can possibly receive.

Dex and Manager Takeo were awesome! I was greeted with a smile and a water and was told step by step everything they were doing and how my car was functioning. I frequent this particular take 5 even though I live way across town and pass 8 of them to get it serviced here. They even had pink coolant at the garage to top me off! Incredible service!

I recently had my oil changed by Ron and Dwayne, and I couldn’t be happier with the experience. They were professional, efficient, and very friendly. Ron took the time to explain the process and answer any questions I had, which made me feel confident in their service. Dwayne worked quickly but carefully, ensuring that everything was done right the first time. The entire oil change was completed faster than I expected, and they even checked my other fluids and tire pressure at no extra cost. Highly recommend Ron and Dwayne for their outstanding service and dedication to customer satisfaction!

I’ve been using Take5 for years all over the state but mostly the one on Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala. Lately there’s never enough workers which creates delays. It took from 9:25am to 10:20am to get the oil change.

I was trying to get my son's car back in good order and just took a chance on the Take 5 at 2162 E Silver Springs Blvd, and was I glad I did! They were great! From the cold bottle of water they handed me when I pulled up to the questions they patiently answered, Manager Tekoa and Technician Dex were knowledgeable, friendly, and efficient. They explained various choices, gave me prices, and got everything done in a really timely manner. I was really impressed!
