Phyllis was my technician - simply amazing! I really didn’t know what I wanted when I walked in, I knew I didn’t like the color or how old it made me look. Phyllis point blank asked “tell me everything you DON’T like about your hair?” Then she went to work. I walked out so happy and loving my cut and color! I felt pretty and confident when I left her chair! I will recommend all my family and friends to Phyllis. 5 Stars ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ is just not enough!!

Phyllis is amazing! She's very sweet, calm and never rushes her clients. I'm always afraid to ask anyone for blonde highlights anymore because I always look like I have bleached hair and my face looks extremely pale afterwards but Phyllis was incredible, she made the highlights look natural, the color doesn't make me look pale at all. She has also waxed my eyebrows before, Phyllis is very good at what she does. I highly recommend visiting this salon, ask for Phyllis!

This was my first appointment with this salon. Upon arrival, learned that the stylist with whom I had scheduled my appointment had departed. The owner, Jody, was very gracious and offered consultation and then cut and styled my hair. I LOVE it! First time that I have made a major style change in YEARS!

Do not make an Appt with Phyllis
I had an appt at 10:00 for a cut and color. with Phyllis. I was sitting in front of the salon for 15 minutes and nobody was there. I tried callin Phyllis snd there was no answer.
About 1 hour later I received a text that said I was a no show.
Very disorganized and unprofessional.
The service wo I ld have cost well over $200.00 and tip. That is money Phyllis walked away from due to irresponsibility. Someone else will collect that money.

Pleasant place near the square but just outside the bustle of Broadway. Becky cleans me up every time. Have her wash your hair. That's the best part ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Had the most amazing experience at The Proper Tease! I went in for a color, highlight and haircut with Karrey. I am absolutely thrilled with my results. From the moment I walked in the staff was welcoming and professional. The salon is so stylish and relaxing. Karrey really listened to me and gave me exactly the look I was hoping for - actually even better! I feel so refreshed and confident!
