Never rent a truck from Uhaul!!!!!!Had hidden milage limit. Never mentionedOver $100 surcharge!!!!!! Didn't even allow enough miles to go to the Uhaul locations

The person that took care of us during and after our rental, was extremely mannerly and professional. She was very informative and helpful. I wish I remembered her name but I really appreciate the patience she had with us. She provided excellent service.

I picked this location to drop off my truck when making my reservation, U-haul decided that I needed to return elsewhere but didn’t bother to inform me. When I showed up to drop it off they said they weren’t supposed to take it but did anyway. They were very polite and took good care of me.

Had a reservation for 1st thing this morning (August 12th ) for a 15ft box truck to help move our friend move to North Carolina. We arrived to pick up the truck at 7:30 and were told to come back at 11 o'clock. Our friend had to be out of her house at 12 noon. We complained to 1-800-uhaul. She told us we would get an upgrade to a 20ft truck. When we went back to the Ocala location they WOULD NOT GIVE US A 20 FT TRUCK.The truck was 3/4 full of gas. I will never deal with these people again.

The three people I interacted with here were super. It was the first time I ever pulled a trailer! Instruction was good but I asked lots of additional questions too, which were answered with clarity. Phone calls were answered immediately. My rental went off without a hitch! (well, that's not true, is it? haha). Thanks for a positive experience.

was charge for gas i didn't use.don't rent from these people they don't care it just about getting your money.plus they dont have a phone can't contact them after they charge you.they have no message mechine and the phone rings buzy all the time.becuase they don't want to answer.

Went in at 11am to rent a truck. There was a note on the door that they were closed unitil 12-7, which is today. 2 other customers were waiting, and a third arrived while we waited. After a wait, we were told that the business would be closed today. One customer complained that he talked to the owner yesterday, and he said he'd meet the customer at 10 today. Wow. I understand family emergencies, but there should be someone that updates the information on the door and makes courtesy calls to customers who have reservations. Does this business really want to continue to be a Uhaul franchise?

I was grossly overcharged for a $19.95 pick up truck I rented to drive less than 15 miles, which we only had for about 4 hours. Dropped it off on a Sunday night, was charged $58.61 3-4 days later, then again was charged an additional $78.19 about THREE (!!!) weeks later. Called customer service after speaking to the agent we rented from at this location, as he said I was overcharged and they would be able to refund me. I filed all the necessary paperwork with the customer service department and was told I would be called back by a manager in a few days. Waited another week and a half, called customer service again to be told that the charge was for 70 miles and $25 worth of gas. All of this inaccurate and dishonest, and not on our part. We put the gas back in that we used and only used the truck to pick up a washer and dryer from my moms (less than 7 miles from my house, and less than 1 mile from the uhaul rental-she lives in Oak Run) We did no extra driving, knowing that we had to pay for the miles, if we went over the free miles allowed. This is not my first time renting a uhual truck, but it is my first time being grossly overcharged, and my first time renting from this location. Since my last contact, I have called an area field manager and left messages and requested call backs 3 times. I have yet to talk to anyone but the agent who caused the problem and a couple of rude customer service agents all stating that I will need to contact the area field manager. Do not go here, unless you like spending about $150 for a one day (four hours really) rental that should cost you only $20.
