They have a meditation group on Friday nights that starts around 7. they will negotiate on price at times it seems. very reasonable and ethical people just a very quaint Victorian environment.”

“My daughters and I love this store!! I have been shopping and consigning with The Monkey Cage for a couple years and it has surpassed my expectations. They do their best to take items that will sell and benefit both of us. I find high end quality items at a great price. It’s also a fun place to stop in and get the girls a little toy as a reward or let them buy something with the money they’ve earned.The staff is always friendly and goes above and beyond to make sure we feel welcomed. The girls can play and check out the fun toys as I shop.The store does have a lot of inventory which is a blessing and they do a great job managing so much….. I always understand when they do not take things that I think would sell because I trust they know their business and make decisions that will profit everyone.I am thankful for this sweet little shop and recommend anyone with littles to stop by.”

“I genuinely enjoy shopping at this Goodwill and visit regularly because you can often find great deals and unique items. The staff has always been friendly, and the store is usually well-stocked.

My biggest complaint is the checkout process. The register lines can become extremely long, and there are times when customers spend several minutes at the register while transactions are processed. When only one register is open, the wait can quickly become frustrating, especially when there are many shoppers in line.

I understand that employees have procedures they must follow, but speeding up the checkout process or opening additional registers during busy periods would make a huge difference in the overall customer experience.

I will continue shopping here because I enjoy the store, but I hope management takes a look at the wait times at the registers. A faster checkout experience would easily make each visit more enjoyable.”

“Some very nice stuff but slightly pricey for consignment. Not too crazy but a little more than some other consignments. For example miss me jeans and a Patricia Nash purse for 50.00. I would have purchased had these items been 35-40 instead. I still did find some things that were priced more reasonable that I did purchase. Store was clean and organized. Was happy to see western style items there as most Plato’s don’t have them.”
