I came here to mail one envelope today, I asked myself when I left here, why did I come here instead of the big post office where my letter would have gone out faster? I said because I thought the clerks here are friendlier and more careful with my mail. Well, today these were almost the rudest people I have ever seem at any place of business in USA, Mexico, Canada and Europe. By far. You see, my envelope, that I brought from home, wasn't sealing well, the agent said she didnt have any tape and was going to put it in outgoing mail. I said what good would it do me if this envelope gets to its destination empty? She did not care. Then she waved me off telling me to go to the front of the store, they might have some tape. There was nobody working in the front of the store, she was in the bathroom, so another agent went up there and asked me what I wanted, even though she had been standing next to the first clerk. I asked for a small piece of tape, she fumbled around and put a piece of tape on my envelope. I went back to the poatal counter because I wanted to get it certified. There was a customer in line, I got in line and after they helped her, I went to the counter of the first clerk and in the process of certification, she put another piece of tape on my envelope. Meanwhile another customer went to the counter of the 2nd clerk and had a small pkg to mail. She said she needed a piece of tape, the clerk complemented her on her lipstick and applied a piece of tape to her package.
It took me 3 days to design, research, print and create the letter in my envelope which was attached to a vital death certificate, I merely wanted to get these documents to their destination, but these 4 employees at this tiny little postal annex tried to make sure my experience mailing it was just as complicated and gruesome as it could be, they made me feel like a worthless customer who wasn't in need of mail service as much as the other customers. Next time I will drive an hour to my favorite post office in another city who does their job cheerfully and efficiently. Of course I want to give these horrible women zero stars but google makes that impossible. I am retired now, but when I was working on nuclear submarines, I tried to do the very best job I could, always, and if somebody had reviewed me and said how rude and inefficient these people actually are, I would have been very embarrassed. I hope all 4 of them are usps employees and I hope they are downsized to be laid off and go home and be rude to someone else. zero stars, thanks for making me feel horrible for no reason right after a death in the family. I feel like bringing them 6 rolls of tape so they can do their job better.

The girl there was able to find a receipt that was months old for a package with the tracking number on it. We were able to trace a very valuable package that was necessary to the recipient. Kudos to this person's efforts.

The USPS offices in Ocala are extremely bad for the most part. In this particular office, a package magically disappeared and even the $100 insurance couldn't recover it.

For the holiday rush, I was able to move through the process in reasonable time. They had 3 clerks and there was all business and little chatting.

No stamps....2nd time in a couple days I have visited to see a sign on the door sorry no postage stamps...I won't be back for a third visit....Yes plenty of parking and a convenient location....that's about it.

Limited supplies but service is fine and short lines. Billed as USPS but I don't think it is. It's a service in the back of a gift shop. Bottom line for simple mailing services it works fine.
