This is the worst pharmacy I've ever dealt with. They answer the phone rude and very inconsiderate to there customers. Worst customer service ever. Have you on hold waiting to speak to a pharmacist for over 20 minutes and then disconnect your phone call. I have 2 screen shots to prove it. I will be bringing my business somewhere else and suggest you do the same.

The most trash pharmacy in all of ocala. I called twice and both of those times they picked up and hung up on me immediately. How sad is it that I had to call the walgreens store and complaint that the pharmacy was hanging up on me. It was after that complaint that they transferred my call and answered. Also, they were rude.

One of the worst pharmacies I've ever been to! They lost my prescriptions, the pharmacist was very rude, and most recently they refused to fill a prescription for pain pills even though the doctor called and talked to them. STAY AWAY!

I occasionally have issues getting an Rx filled when I'd like or something will be out of stock when I order for delivery, but today an associate earned 5.A sad fact of aging is that sometimes folks don't know they need the bathroom until it's too late. Today, mom didn't make it. BK was too rich today, I guess, because she was... well, a mess. I happened to go back and check on her when she was taking too long and she told me she had "messed her pants" & was trying to clean up the feces from her underpants and slacks. She was a MESS. I honestly wasn't sure what to do and I was thinking I needed to get her panties (does Walgreens even sell those?!?). I stopped a VERY KIND associate in the back of the store & told her what was happening. She was SO KIND & empathetic we decided store brand depends was the best (& most reasonably priced) option, along with wipes. She found trash bags & gloves too. Pharmacy staff let me take her the items to use and ring me up using a different set. The bathroom probably needed bleach when we left, but we managed.NOTHING like this has happened to either of us (outside of childcare) before. This associate was wonderful (I wish I had her name, I just know she was a tall, Black woman with shoulder length hair. Bless that store (Also, earlier in the week, a same day delivery was messed up, it was supposed to include a dozen Reeses peanut butter Easter egg candies. Somehow only three came. They sent me a bag full, roughly 2 dozen, when I came to get the other things that the door - driver left behind.)EDIT - I really wanted the associate's boss to know how wonderful she had been with my mother and I and so I called to speak to her manager. Turns out she was the manager.

The pharmacy used to have 4 star rating and was one of the best pharmacies in Ocala, FL. However, about 4-5 months ago a new pharmacist started named Joel Keckler is very rude and discriminates against women. He also states he is happy for Walgreens pharmacy customers to fill their prescriptions somewhere else. My elderly grandmother has been receiving the same medication for over 15 years and fills her prescription every single time when walgreens notifies her that it can be filled. In the app it updates and says that her prescription is being verified and was told by multiple pharmacy technicians even the pharmacy technician manager said that it would be ready at a certain time. I drive my elderly grandmother to the pharmacy because she needs assistance driving and so it takes additional time out of my day and her day. When we arrived at the pharmacy Joel Keckler the NEW pharmacy manager and pharmacist he stated that he would not fill the medicine for two days. It was already approved by the doctor, walgreens pharmacy and the insurance. It was only Joel Keckler that chose not to fill it. He intentionally waited until she was in the store after having to make these arrangements for someone to drive her, that he then told her this. He did not have any decency to call her prior and let her know anything different, even though he had intention not to approve it all along.

I was getting my COVID Vaccine at Walgreens and was due for my second shot. Due to my work schedule it was difficult to schedule an appointment. However, I called and was told no problem, walk-ins are welcome. I arrived at Walgreens and there's a huge sign at the door that states Walk-ins welcome for COVID Vaccinations. While walking to the Pharmacy area it's announced over the PA System that COVID vaccinations are available and WALK-INS are welcome. So, I present to the pharmacy where I was greeted and told that they no longer accept walk-ins. Really??? The sings are there stating differently as well as the announcement overhead. So, they tell me no you have to make an appointment. Seriously?? I drove an hour to this location and now you tell me I have to make an appointment? What a joke!! The Pharmacy aide or whatever she was turned around and walked away. So, yes I got angry and demanded to see a manager. The manager came out to talk with me telling me that they could only take appointments because they were holding vaccines for those appointments and no one else. Just then here's the overhead announcement once again WALK-INS WELCOME!!! Sign at door and at Pharmacy WALK-INS WELCOME!! J***** After much discussion I did get my vaccination, but No more Walgreens for me at this location. Time for Walgreens to fix their process.

A quick stop to hit up their ATM because it's in my network. Unfortunately, the machine was out of cash. While here, the store is tidy, clean and well stocked. The young lady behind the counter shouted her greeting. There was no queue at the register. It is almost the same as every other Walgreens I've been to across the country. Needed a script filled that was called in, waited on hold for 10 minutes then someone picks up the phone and just hangs up. Called back asked for store manager Eric. Was hung up on again. Called back a third time, spoke with Eric. He really didn't seem to concerned about hanging up on customers... Really bad service... Don't recommend this store at all.

Wow what a surprise how bad this company takes advantage of people on the cost of medications. I Needed some insulin and was totally shocked when I found out they are charging 7 times more than other pharmacy providers. A bottle that is $25 dollars at other providers was $166 here, what a scam! I can only believe from this example they are also doing it with other medications. I also was disappointed to see they were harassing a woman in front of us about her insurance just because she was from another state. She clearly had her insurance card but they would not help her because of course things are different state to state on insurance card requirements. I will never go to this location again and further more would not recommend any Walgreens if this is how they allow a location to operate. Also on a side note if I hadn't been paying attention the pharmacist tried to sell me the wrong type of insulin with the first bottle he brought me.

Great service by caring staff. The store is clean and stocked well. Most beauty product and hair colors are always in stock. I like their brand of frozen BBQ chicken, face creams, and vitamins too. The eyeliner pencils near the cosmetic counter get sold out fast though.

Pros: The store is clean. Cons: Prescriptions are a major hassle to get filled. It seems we have to make multiple trips to get something filled. My wife and I fight for who has to go there to get a prescription filled and we don't do this but a few times a year. Today - I placed a prescription before 9 a.m. for an ointment. That is pretty simple. Pretty common prescription. It is already pre-packaged. It requires stuffing an overpriced tube of ointment into a white Walgreens rectangular bag, then 4 to 8 pages of in-depth instructions written in 2 point font that gets stapled multiple times to the bag. That is pretty easy. No compounding - nothing. Just grab the ointment, stick it in a bag, 4 to 8 sheets of 2 point instructions stapled multiple times to the bag. I think I could do it in about 30 seconds or less. I drive up around 5 p.m. - over 8 hours later and I am told it will be ready after tomorrow by 10. I wouldn't gripe, but this has been going on with Walgreens forever. You really have to do your due diligence with them to make sure you get your prescription. They are like the Soup Nazis on Seinfeld. "No prescription for you!" I see now why people order their prescriptions through the mail and leave out pharmacies like Walgreens. They really are a faceless company.
