My husband was diagnosed with bronchitis and prescribed 3 medicines. He went to urgent care when it opened at 9 am and dropped off his prescriptions to Walgreens at 10 am. He was informed that they would be ready in about 30 minutes so he decided to come back later. I went to get them on his behalf and didn't realize they were closed from 1:30-2 so I waited 10 minutes until they reopened. I walked around the store for that time with my mask since I am now getting sick. I waited in line but had others jumping in front so I decided to go through the drive thru which only had 1 vehicle in front of me. I get to the window and the lady servicing the window was clearly NOT happy about being there. I get it, corporate America has completely killed any joy for the majority needing to work their jobs. That being said, it is not okay to project our own unhappiness onto others. I was informed that one of the meds needed to be ordered and would not be there until tomorrow. This was NOT communicated to my husband when he dropped them off but I said okay no problem. Then I was informed that it would be another 15-20 minutes before the remaining 2 would be ready. What happened to the 30 minutes that my husband was informed was the wait time when he dropped them off at 10 am??? I was definitely perturbed with not feeling well myself, the employee projecting, and the fact that I had already been there 10 minutes prior to them reopening at 2 pm from their lunch. I informed the employee that no I didn't want to wait, thank you.
I no longer utilize western medicine due to the doctors being overwhelmed, the pharmacies being overwhelmed, etc. Clearly this location is inundated with not enough staff to complete the orders in a timely manner. I have NO doubt that this is due to a big corporation "doing more, with less" mentality. It's just sad how our country is struggling with so much that any individual that is physically sick can not get relief from the medical/pharmaceutical industries that they rely on.
I don't recommend using this particular location and believe that we are going to need to rely on ourselves to find alternative/natural healing so that we STOP fueling Corporate America's cash cow(s). We have completely lost sight of the "people" aspect of our society. It's all about the numbers and I personally will no longer support it.

I moved so I wanted to switch pharmacies, I dropped of a medication on Monday I was told to come back in 15 minutes … I didn’t want to rush them so I said I’d be back the next day . I was too sick to get out of bed the next day so here I am on Wednesday… well it turns out they lost the script (which is okay because accidents happen) but what’s not okay when I came in to the store to talk about the situation and a tech in here named Alex was not understanding of me being a little upset about the situation and actually yelled at me …. He walked away and yelled again. Very unprofessional… reason why it’s not getting a 1 star it’s because Tara completely fixed the situation… go see her , Alex is a JERK

They never have medication ready even when you call 20 minutes prior to arriving and they tell you it’ll be ready. Multiple issues with this place and don’t recommend unless you like getting frustrated. This place makes you want to change your pharmacy location for pickup.

This store may not always have what I want but does nine times out of ten. But they are very pleasant and helpful in trying to find what I need and letting me know where I can find it if they don't have it. Very pleased with this location and the people that work there

The Ocala Walgreen's is located between St Augustine and Tampa. We stopped in here today for the restroom facility and to buy a couple of KitKats while driving for 3 hours to Tampa.
This Walgreen is clean and well-stocked. The shelves are not messy like some stores are. The staff were welcoming and very nice.
The restroom is clean and is wheelchair accessible.
Parking and handicapped parking are in front of the store. Parking is free.

I just got turned away at 1:29 because they were closed for lunch and I have to come back later... Wow... I was going for a disabled friend and now I get to sit in the parking lot when the prescription was literally right behind the guy and it would have taken 30 seconds.. Little Mr snotty works there now

Terrible service with the pharmacy ! Day 6 , and I still have not received my medicine . I have a heart issue , very high blood pressure , breathing meds . The pharmacy doesn't seem to care about the customers they serve .
