On January 6, 2022, my father was sick and my mother needed a prescription from the pharmacy. She had no way of getting to Walmart Pharmacy because she could not drive. She was sick with an ear infection, lost her hearing and had Bronchitis. I ordered her a ride through Lyft. The Lyft picked her up at home and brought her to Walmart located at 4980 E. Silver Springs Blvd in Ocala, FL. She was supposed to call me when she was ready to come home. I later learned that her phone wasn’t fully charged and the phone died. She had no way of getting in contact with me. I tried texting her cause I knew she wouldn't hear the phone ring She asked the greeter inside Walmart for help. The greeter told her she could not help and suggested she go to Customer Service. My mother went to customer service and the woman, thankfully called me. However, before I could tell the woman (whom I had no idea who she was) that I needed to order a Lyft, the woman hung up). I called the number and no one answered. I sent a text to the number but the text didn’t go through.I called the pharmacy, thank goodness they answered the phone. I explained the situation to a woman who answered what was going on and if she could help. She told me she would use the inter calm system to page my mother, Geraldine. I told the woman that my mother lost her hearing and or if she was outside she wouldn’t hear the page. But to please try anyway. She told me she would call back when my mother showed up at the pharmacy. She told me that my mother picked up her medication about an hour ago.About 10 minutes later, I went into a panic when I did not get a call back from the pharmacy. I called the pharmacy back and a male answered, he identified himself as Roberto. I explained the situation to Roberto. Roberto stated that they paged Geraldine and she did not show up. I told Roberto that my mother lost her hearing due to an ear infection and her phone lost the charge. I told Roberto that I reside in Massachusetts and was 1279 miles away and had no way of reaching my mother. I asked Roberto if he could step away and look outside the pharmacy entrance door to Walmart. He told me he would, he kept the phone line open, located my mother and brought her inside the store. Still on the phone with me, I called for the Lyft ride, gave him the information of the vehicle and driver. The Lyft was in the area and arrived within 2 minutes. Roberto walked my mother outside and stayed with her till she was safely on her ride. He made sure she got into the correct vehicle and even helped her into the vehicle. I cannot thank him enough. My family can’t thank him enough.Roberto took the time from his very busy schedule to assist a customer in need. He showed kindness and compassion. He did this without hesitation and reservation. He went above and beyond. He is a HERO. Thank you.RB

There is almost always a long wait and are often understaffed. Most of the time the employees are very rude or at least unfriendly. I'm often told a prescription is ready by text or when I call in and then when I get there it's not ready. On many occasions they are out of stock on a medication I need. They do not know when it will be available or if another WalMart has it available. I am to the point where I avoid using this pharmacy most of the time. The only reason I ever get something filled here is due to cost. I really hope they can shape up because it's a very convenient location and they do have the best prices. They just need more employees and employees who are trained in giving good customer service.

All staff and employees are very good . Very helpful and kind. My only complaint is. Usually they don't have adequate staffing to manage the volume of customers they see daily....always a long wait in line.and when a person is sick or in pain its very difficult to wait like that.

If you have to do curbside pharmacy pick up you'll be waiting atleast half an hour. No one answers the number listed on the sign until you call atleast 10 times. Then you get put on hold and told it's a 5-10 minute wait. You'll wait a minimum of 30 minutes for your script.

With masks, barriers and employee exhaustion it's hard to hear employees. Understand the root of this problem

The worst Pharmacy ever. I've been going here many yrs and it just gets worse & worse! They open at 9, we've been there 2ce already &it's 12:30 now. We have to go back again after 2. I just got home from hospital and need the prednisone to breathe. They couldn't even give a courtesy call or offer for me to go to another pharmacy. May need to go back to the hospital so I can breathe during the wait. Time to find a better pharmacy.

Long waiting in line. You can't pick up your prescription and drop off your prescription at the same register. You have to go back inline to drop off your prescription. Oh 90% of the time when your dropping off your prescription you have to wait the next day. Even when it's the next day it's not ready. Then you have to wait on the pharmacist to bag up your prescription.
