Never in my life have I written a review about a post office, but after the good service I received here, I had to write a public thank you note.I came here a few days before Christmas to ship some things on a Saturday morning, and I got here about 25 minutes before they opened at 8:30 am.Two workers saw me in the parking lot and they said, “ma’am, you can come in now, and we’ll help you.”This was 25 minutes before they opened!!I laughed, and said, “thank you so much! I am here to send off some packages for Christmas!”Then one of the workers came over and said “ma’am, can I help you with the packages?”I drove up here from my home 30 minutes away because this is the only post office that opens at 8:30 AM on Saturday, but this may be my new favorite post office for everything. I am still in shock that they opened 25 minutes early just to accommodate an elderly woman trying to ship things out for Christmas. There are no words to say how grateful I am for their kindness and thoughtfulness.

Never received 2 packages my mom sent me I Have the tracking number and they said they were delivered but were not because somebody is always home . New clothes and about 4 IPHONE chargers . Why do we bother putting a return address on things when they never return them to the sender ????

The regular delivery is great but the person that covers lies, twice they have said we were unavailable for signing for a package when we were home all day and our dog was out and never barked at all.I tried to let the post office know and was brushed off, it is completely unacceptable for someone to lie about attempting to deliver a package!

Love the Ocklawaha post office branch. Great people work here and it has that home town feel.

The absolute worst post office I have ever dealt with. Packages are regularly held for no reason. I waited all day for an item that needed to be signed for and they never even came to the door just dropped a slip in the mailbox saying they missed me. And this isn't even the first time this has happened. PURE LAZINESS

I called on Holy Saturday to find out if the local USPS office was open. The IVR is awful. Spent too much time on Covid topics and there was no option to get the business hours of operation.

Doesn’t answer the phone. Doesn’t deliver mail. In fact I’m about to drive up there and ask them how much they want to pay me for me doing their job. Been holding my package for five days for no good reason because USPS said they magically can’t find my house anymore even though I get packages else where all week long. They’ve delivered to my house before. So what’s the deal? They don’t ride by anymore at all. Today is the day they find out that I will get my mail one way or another.

Okay the post office location itself, I haven’t had a problem with yet, but the delivery service is a different story! Bought my house and not even 2 months in and I received the survey to my new home in pieces placed in a plastic bag, it was torn, how? I don’t know, called and reported it and nothing could be done about it, had to call title company and pay 100$ out of pocket again to get another copy of authentic duplicate. Shortly after that VA letter again was ripped. Been here two years now and still having problems with my mail. I know stuff takes two, three days maybe two weeks, okay but I just got a letter from the VA (mind you they are usually time sensitive) dated February 3, 2021 and it’s now May! Seriously a letter not even a package. Oh and if it’s a package make sure you have a big enough mailbox because just so they don’t have to get out of their car they will make it fit one way or another!

Mail carrier delivers packages next door 1 to 2 days per week. I have 1 simple little package delivered to the house using USPS and they cannot locate my house yet they can the neighbors within speaking distance to my home. Funny how FEDEX and UPS deliver to my home on a regular basis and never have had an issue finding my home.

We have only lived here for a few months, and we already hate our mail carrier. Consistently late, packages scheduled for delivery never come on time, mail is put in the wrong box (sometimes very important mail). It’s like she just decides to stop delivering the mail when ever she wants.

We moved here seven years ago and I feel like I moved back to the 60s! The postal service here 32179 is a joke! I get mail with someone else’s Name on it, a different street, a different numerical number on it quite often...Today I received a lavender 5 x 8 card stating Carrier Misdelivery Alert, with my name on it and address onAnd the boxes marked are “ Midelivered Mall, Incorrect Name, Incorrect Address” ? What the word does that mean???I tried calling the Ocklawaha Post Office @ 3:40 and it rand for 10 minutes and I hung up, again and it rang two minutes and someone picked it up and set the receiver back down! Same thing with the third call. This mail carrier is not capable of her duties!!!!UNBELIEVABLE, Only in America
