This company turned me away after attempting to cash a cashier’s check for a large sum of money, with no justifiable reason. They were going to receive an absurd percentage of the funds for cashing it, but due to a family illness, I was willing to accept the fee. They were rude in person, and on the phone. I don’t know why they can’t verify a cashier’s check from a national bank, with local branches. Perhaps they should take their exorbitant fees and devote it to a more in depth verification system. I will never use their company for any services again, and will deter anyone I know from giving them business.

Person working by herself on 5/31/22 @ 4:47pm decided to skip me because I was counting my money for a money order after waiting 3rd person in line and someone walked in after me. I was waiting patiently in line also even though she was working as slow as a turtle.

Got to the store at around 5:30 today waited for a little bit for someone to come out to assist. I figured if I called the store someone would come out to answer and see there’s people waiting. It’s 6 now and everyone’s still waiting. If there’s no one on site why not close the store.

Associate was rude, no proper greeting nor smile, not wearing a name tag and charged me extra. Attempted to speak with Kyla and was ignored. Ask fee to be waived or reduced and no response.

Friendly staff but dang the fees here are brutally high. I was just trying to save a trip to my credit union but I'm here to tell ya I'm not paying the crazy check cashing fees they want no way

Does what you need it too, service is nice and generic but incredibly slow. I've been here 3 times now and each time I've had to wait more than a half hour just because I'll fill fill out my paperwork and end up wait and waiting for someone to come and help me with the next step. The employees are all helping more than one customwr and would often forget what we were doing. They're doing their best, but obviously understaffed. If you need to make a visit here, give yourself at least an hour here.

Poor costumer service, I called at 12:30 PM and same female put me on hold 3 times in a row and hung up on me... 4th time I called she picked up and asked me what I needed and before i finished she cut me off and asked for my social and all my info and as soon as I extended my cash advance due date she hung up on me.. very very rude...

I just went in to change money for my store next door and the guy was in there giving me attitude for no reason and cuz I was in a rush he said it was a courtesy that I didn’t say something nice back to not come back to change money there again witch is very rude and I did not like that service there

Went to break a $20 and asked for a roll of quarters and the rest in $5's and $1's the female behind the glass made a face like I was bothering her. And when she went into her register to get the roll I guess it was her last roll and she once again made another face like it was a problem. I'm not sure why but it's Amscot people come there all the time for the same not to only cash a check. She was very rood and seemed like she didn't like her job. Maybe she should find another place to work. She lacks customer service.
