I had the pleasure of celebrating my husband’s 80th birthday celebration at this venue. Everything was excellent. The decorations was spot on, the food was seasoned well and absolutely delicious.
The salmon was excellent. Mac’s cheese was better than mine. And the collard greens, green beans, cornbread, yams and chicken. I will definitely be using this venue for all of my family gatherings. The service was excellent as well.

The Food for Thought owners and staff made my daughter’s wedding a memorable celebration. They were very gracious and thoughtful. The food was delightful and our guests truly enjoyed themselves. A Day to Remember
July 2025: My husband and I were truly blessed to celebrate our wedding and reception at Food for Thought Events with the Demings. From our very first interaction to the final moments of our special day, the level of care, professionalism, and attention to detail was simply unmatched.
The Demings were everything we could have hoped for—helpful, honest, courteous, patient, and compassionate. They guided us through each step of the planning process with genuine transparency, helping us make thoughtful choices and ensuring that every decision was truly worth the investment.
Although we’re not local to the Ocoee area and traveled from Atlanta, Georgia, we chose this venue because of its outstanding reputation—and it exceeded every expectation. The décor, the food, and the warm, welcoming atmosphere made our celebration absolutely unforgettable.
If we could give 20 stars, we would!
Thank you again, Mr. and Mrs. Demings, for helping us create memories that will last a lifetime.

I cannot express more strongly what an amazing venue this is. One of my dear friends got married on Saturday and was only able to use this location because someone else canceled. We were so fortunate to be able to have her reception there. Every little detail is absolute perfection. Every person who worked there was friendly and warm and efficient. There was a very good menu and the line moved very smoothly and quickly in the buffet. If anyone is thinking of using this place, I highly recommend it! Much gratitude to the Demings for coming up with such a wonderful experience for our community! I wish you so much success!

What an amazing experience! The venue was beautifully decorated, the food was delicious! My friends and family are still talking about the celebration for my Mothers 90th Birthday! I HIGHLY recommend if you want and awesome experience for your event!

When we walked in, we were absolutely stunned by the decorations—they were literally breathtaking! The team at Food for Thought went above and beyond, transforming the space into something truly magical.
Working with Mrs. Renee was an absolute dream. She was phenomenal, incredibly patient, and sweet throughout the entire process, guiding us every step of the way. Her dedication and kindness made a significant difference.
And the food? Simply delicious! It was served hot and fresh right on time, impressing all of our guests.
If we could give Food for Thought 10 stars, we most certainly would. We highly recommend them for any event; you won't be disappointed!

They hosted my ladies ministry and retirement banquet 6/28/25. There is a saying “ You get what you pay for.”, This is not the case with Food For Thought hosted by the Demings you get more than what you paid for. Terry and Renee are top notched professionals with a welcome home feel. They will host your event with a spirit of excellence , care and respect. You will not be disappointed. If your event is important and you want memories for a lifetime stop searching and book with Food For Thought! Don’t give it a second thought or an after thought make it your only thought !! Terry and Renee will take care of every detail as if you were their only customer.

I attended an awesome event on Saturday with the Purple Hat Sisters. We were welcome at the entrance with beautiful decorations and smiling staff. The food was absolutely 💯. I highly recommend, Food For Thought Event Venue. Thank you for a wonderful evening.
