This used to be an awesome little storage place. I started renting from them when it was a local owner, at the beginning of 2019. It was expensive, but not all that bad. I think it was $150 for my spot (10x20). Rent went up a little in the 2 years that followed, but not horrendously. THEN, Midgard bought the local owner out. Immediately, rent started going up regularly (Mine is now OVER $300), and today I got a text telling me they were going to start charging me an extra $10 to have 24 hour access to my unit. I'm not looking for space at my house to move everything and what I can't store, I'll just get rid of. In my opinion, Midgard is a bunch of greedy crooks. I guess as long as they can lure people in and the raise the rent, they'll prosper, but at the cost of making a bunch of angry customers. My advice is stay away from this place and find one locally owned.11/17/23 - An update (not for the better): This place like to play dirty tricks. They want you to set up autopay so that they can sneak in their "required" insurance when you're not looking. Yes, you can show them your homeowners' insurance to show you don't need it, but in a year when your insurance renews, if you don't provide them a new copy, they add the insurance on with no notification. They used to let you know before they did this, but their new policy is, "It's in the contract, so it's on the customer to know to do this". That's the way they like to play.

I was in the middle if moving on a Sunday and needed a storage facility for the same day and it was already the middle of the day, and they found me a place near me in my budget. Very clean place and good security and amazing customer service with a live person ?

Alyssa was so helpful and provided information that I didn’t even think of asking about. When I asked for a change, it was easily and promptly without issue. Alyssa is a dynamic asset

Midgard is amazing. I was in a bind after my prospective apartment was not move-in ready. I needed a place for hardly a week between my lease ending and a new one beginning. It was easy to rent my unit online. Once I got to the physical site, Donna was SUPER helpful. She was kind and welcoming and told me to let her know if we needed more space. Turned out, I did need more space. She was able to work out an easy and stress-free transfer. Not only that, but I only had to pay the difference for the size upgrade. I also needed a lock and key, and because I'll only be here for less than a week, Donna let me use a loaner. Midgard has been super accommodating and so great. It was also 30 minutes before the office closing and Donna had nothing but a smile on her face. If I ever need storage again, I'll be sure to go to Midgard!

Donna was very helpful in booking my reservation for several trucks on several different dates. My only suggestion is to upgrade the booking software to be able to book more than one truck at a time.

Rented a U-Haul van from Midgard for a project. No long lines to wait in to get the van. Office employee was very kind and helpful - offered us coffee and water. The van’s gas was full (it annoys me when I rent a vehicle and am told it’s on 1/4 a tank so just bring it back with the same amount, but that didn’t happen here).

Facility very clean and all units are on ground level. Security seems to be first-rate. Best part of my experience was the excellent customer service provided by Alyssa and Donna. My highest recommendation!

Raised rates multiple times. Customer service was awful, would not process a payment on-site, had me go home and do it online.Move to a new facility nearby, much cheaper even for a larger unit. Was a much better business when it was Maguire Road Self Storage.

The young lady that worked there, and the people on the phone were all professional and excellent. The advertising and the space provided are “approximate “ that is their way of telling you that a 10 foot unit is not 10 foot. My 5 x 10 unit is only 8‘10“ long. And they call that OK by saying that they use the word approximate. Anybody here believe that they don’t know that their 10 foot units are not 10 foot.? Does using the word approximate make it OK for your unit to be 15% smaller than advertised?

Alyssa who works in the office is very helpful and accommodating. She always answers questions and if she doesn’t know the answer, she finds out and gets back to you. She took the time to walk me through multiple units so I could make a decision. I didn’t feel pressured or rushed at all.

Alyssa was extremely kind and knowledgeable. She was prepared to answer all of my questions immediately. This was by-far the best experience I have ever had at a self storage business. I am now very excited to start my relationship with Midgard!

Very easy online process for reserving a unit and signing the contract. The office staff was really helpful and answered any questions we had and showed us to the unit. Situated in a nice area, the units are clean and the property seems to be well kept.

We paid in full, signed a lease agreement, bought a lock, and paid for overnight access, but we were still refused access to our unit. This is a clear violation of our rights as tenants.Despite confirming our access on the day in question, the woman at the office was rude and unhelpful when our access code did not work. She refused to assist us in any way. She acknowledged that we were supposed to have access, but refused to open the gate for us.We had rented a U-Haul in Nashville, arranged for a family member to load it up and drive it all the way down to Florida, and we coordinated with Midgard to ensure that we would have access at the scheduled time. However, we were still turned away, and someone even called the cops to prevent us from accessing our unit.Although the reviews of other tenants seem positive, our experience with Midgard was terrible. They violated our lease agreement and our rights as tenants and were just completely unreasonable when they are the only ones who actually messed up in this situation. We did everything we were supposed to do. They had one job: grant us access to the unit we paid for and they couldn't even do that. Even when there was a Midgard representative at the office acknowledging that we were in fact authorized and supposed to be able to get inside, they would not open the gate for us. Shame on this company.
