This is my go-to for groceries. Close to home. I know pretty much where everything is, so shopping is easy.

Publix is my "go to" stop for getting a fresh sub. The Boars Head meats are excellent. The service I received in the Deli at this location was phenomenal.
Awesome people!

Self-checkout. The pros and cons of it are somewhat of a talking point these days. I overheard one of the employees here at this store saying stuff like “it’s taking our jobs”. True. Or, “It robs the customer of the human-to-human interaction”. Does it really? Because I can think of at least one employee here who has become overly-comfortable with his perennial bag boy role. This dude once made some pretty self-righteous comments to me in the parking lot for no real reason. He refused to bag my groceries last night (2 items), same as he did the time before. It’s still an otherwise fine place to buy food and baked goods, it’s Publix. I just don’t understand this guy and have exercised an abundance of restraint around him. So basically him and let’s say maybe a few others have developed this mentality that the customer is in their house and that the customer must check his or her metaphorical shoes at the door before entering. Entitled attitudes, bad body language- everything a machine doesn’t bother me with. It’s 2024 and all but enough is enough. I’m paying you guys, not the other way around. I don’t care what anyone’s pet peeves are or what your thoughts and opinions are when I’m shopping and you’re on the job. I thought Publix was supposed to be a decent career. Maybe you need a change of scenery and don’t yet realize it. You’re easily replaceable. #BagItUp

No baked goods case, so you have to buy packages of donuts or pastries in the bakery
No individual portions
