Old McMicky's Farm in Odessa is a fun and interactive destination for families, groups, and school field trips. The farm provides educational opportunities to get up close with well-behaved and friendly animals, including chickens, turkeys, pigs, ponies, and cows. It is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon, creating lasting memories. The gorgeous and well-maintained property offers a picturesque backdrop for kids to enjoy pony rides, meet adorable animals, and explore easily walkable pathways. It is a great place for birthday parties, company picnics, corporate events, private parties, and beautiful lakefront weddings. The staff are super nice and knowledgeable, making visits super fun and well-organized. Special events, like Easter, feature activities such as bounce houses, egg hunts, face painting, and photo opportunities. While some note these events can be expensive, the farm is praised for its wonderfully tempered animals, clean and spacious facilities, and its role in providing fun, bonding family entertainment that kids remember.
We went this past weekend with kiddos ranging from 1-14yo and they all enjoyed the farm even the adults. The tour was great and very interactive. They also have areas where you can go to sit, to rest, eat your snacks and take in the beautiful property.
