“Located away from everything. This is a new building, clean, fresh and nice. Wished they would have made it all non smoking with the smokers having a smaller room. Do the opposite of what it is now.”

“I picked this place because they would accommodate both my husband and I along with our two English Bulldogs. We ended up staying much longer than expected. Everyone was very nice and accommodating. Breakfast was excellent I enjoyed it every day. I make a habit of reading reviews and recently also post them myself. I saw a mention of the very friendly lizard catching cat that is there. Having lived in south Florida I see nothing wrong with the cat being there for not only the lizards but what I call other “undesirables”. I think I interacted with nearly every staff member all of which were friendly and accommodating. Having lived in the area before we were disappointed that two of our favorite restaurants no longer met our expectations but we did enjoy Pizza Heaven again and again during this last visit. Overall, thank you for hosting us while our RV was being repaired.”

“I love Budget Inn in Okeechobee, FL. Despite it being an older hotel it is kept very clean. The staff are nice people and easy to get along with. The daily and weekly rates are among the lowest in town. The rates go up during tourist season and back down in the off season. Despite ads there is no functional pool, but I'm okay with that. A light breakfast is provided (cereal, muffins, honey buns, coffee, milk). There is a decent sized, fenced-in dog area. WiFi is free. It is located on main drag and across the street is Aldi's and Pizza Heaven. Close to other restaurants, too. I can ride my bike around in the pleasant neighborhoods behind the grounds. I'm posting a photo of some of the flowers on grounds.”
