Okeechobee KOA Resort is a tropical vacation campground considered by many to be the best KOA. It features a palm-fringed 9-hole golf course, pools, hot tubs, and a fully equipped fitness center. The resort offers a full social calendar with activities like tennis, pickleball, and hiking the nearby Big O trail. The sites are large and very clean, with beautiful wildlife and amenities like a dog wash area. The staff is friendly and efficient. While some note there isn't too much to do beyond golf and swimming, guests enjoy the clean facilities, nearby Lake Okeechobee for fishing, and the on-site Shanty lounge.

What a delightful experience! So clean, friendly, and so much to do. We spent 4 lovely nights tent camping here and could not have found a better place! Golf, quaint, friendly bar, music, and so much more! Thank you, Okeechobee Koa, for a great getaway!

Okeechobee KOA is prob the best KOA we have ever been to. We love the area. I haven’t found anything that we do not enjoy here.
