My husband bought me their gift certificate last Nov and spent over $55. Dummy me lost it with an expiration date time of 6mos. Well yesterday while cleaning l found it. I called them and requested since the amount paid was not cheap could they extend the time limit just this one time. They refused. Think this was pretty lousy, they got free money and l intended to spend some additional monies for their courtesy.

My pedicurist is Helen. Let me begin by saying I had severe damage to my toenails by 2 kayaks falling on them and needless to say I have very difficult, trouble nails.
Helen has taken care of me now for 2 years and I am a very regular customer. That being said I want to share my experience.
My main problem is with severely ingrown toenails after the damage was done. I had been to every salon in Okeechobee and NOBODY was able to help me. I was in terrible pain all the time.
Helen knew exactly what I needed and has taken care of me now for the last 2 years. She is thorough, gives the best massages and truly cares about my toenails. I cannot say enough good.
I have read the negative reviews and want to counter by saying that the salon is clean and well sanitized. I have never seen anything less than acceptable. Many people are petty and give bad reviews but I can say that I have had zero problems over the last two years and I go monthly.
If you want an above average pedicure go see HELEN.

Don’t waste your time. Went in with my friend on July 10th—told 10-15 minutes, waited 30. Off to a bad start and it only got worse. We were RUSHED the entire time like they couldn’t wait to get rid of us. My pedicure was absolute trash—no cuticle work, the “massage” was pathetic. Instead of actually massaging me, she just kept scratching the hell out of my legs and feet with her nails to the point it hurt—and I literally left with a cut on my ankle from her nail. On top of that, they didn’t use lotion during the massage—just scrubbed our legs raw with that gritty scrub the entire time. Then the “hot stones” we were supposed to be massaged with? Used for literally 2 seconds before they slapped a hot towel on us and called it a day. The broken toenail I specifically asked to be fixed? She just slapped gel over it like I wouldn’t notice.
The paint job is disgusting—lumpy, uneven, already peeling, just horrid all around. My friend’s pedicure was somehow worse—she bled because they filed her nails so short, and her gel is already chipping off less than 24 hours later.
And the attitude at the end? Unreal. After the pedicure, the tech literally just sat there silently staring at me, waiting for a tip. When I stood up, she reached her hand out like “where’s my money?” Not to mention she spent half the appointment talking about money and how she only does things for tips.
$100 for the most rushed, careless, painful, and low-effort pedicures we’ve ever had. Disgusted and beyond pissed. Never again will we return to Suave nails in Okeechobee FL!

I love to write a good review but I just couldn't do it for this place. First time visitor with my daughter and this is the dirtiest nail salon I have ever visited. There is little to no ventilation therefore the salon had a very strong acetone smell, the chairs were in disrepair, there was no sign that anyone ever vacuums (don't look behind the chairs), and the drying station was filthy and my tech forgot to even turn it on for me. The staff was nice enough but they need to seriously hire someone to clean and install proper ventilation.

Went here expecting to get something I would actually want and enjoy
The owner was rude
, they messed up my nails the guy who was doing my nails was RUSHING and proceeded to break the nails he was working on 3times ripping it off due to rushing!!! And trying to file it Causing my nail to bleed from all the times the nails ripped off because of him rushing
.i wanted pink French tips long square
He gave me white short French tips ..
Not even a week later my nails was popping off , and lifting not even breaking in half just popping and lifting
me and my sister in law
We both got are toes done together
and nails Done and when they was doing are toes I explained to the lady who was doing my toes
I did not like the way she did my toes and I had told another lady before this new lady came to start on me how I wanted them done which was White acrylic
But the lady proceeded to say to me that I was depending “on nails and I shouldn’t be
”which was wild too me because this was my first time in about a year I went to try the nail salons again …..
& she couldn’t change it to how I wanted and I should’ve said some before she started which I did ,
And she ended up panting them a cream coffee color ??? And charging me 64 for her to paint them …
So go if you want but my experience wasn’t the best !. Will not be going again.

AWFUL AWFUL AWFUL!!!!!!!

Ive been completely stripped of my toe nail!!!
I walked into this place on my lunch break after finding it on google… There was absolutely no one in that place except for the owner and her husband or some male worker. HE SHOULD BE FIRED he went to take the gel polish off my nails from a previous set and completely shaved my nail PAPER THIN i have never had thin nails!!! my nails are thick and healthy and every place ive been to prior would have you soak your gel off at least a little bit before shaving the nail. I HAD TO STOP HIM AFTER THT I COULD LITERALLY FEEL THE SKIN UNDER MY NAIL AS MY FINGER TOUCHED TO CHECK THE SENSITIVITY OF IT!!!
Had an entire panic attack not wanting him to work on my nail. On top of everything he gaslight me talking about “im sensitive”
The owner had to finish shaving the color off of my other toes and literally they are layers and i mean LAYERS THICKER THAN THE ONE HE WAS RUSHING TO DO.
PAPER THIN TOE NAIL and all i didn't even put my shoes on i RAN OUT OF THERE SO FAST!!!
NEVER GO HERE IF YOU HAVE HEALTHY NAILS THEY DONT GIVE A RATS ASS ABOUT YOU. I have PTSD because of them.
First picture is the paper thin toe still with all the shavings of the layers of my nail trying to hold on & the second picture is the toe the actual owner took the polish off of.
I have never in my 28 years of living stopped someone dead in their tracks while they were doing a service for me. This was WILD!!

I waited over a week to be able to get an appointment with Helen. I was told she was on vacation for the week I had wanted, so I opted to wait a week until she returned and scheduled my appointment accordingly. I arrived a few minutes early only to be told that it was Helen's day off. I'd driven 45 minutes to get there. Their inefficiency is unacceptable.

My first visit was fantastic! Clean, inviting shop. Staff speaks great English, were also engaged and funny in the interaction with clients and each other! Music was not too loud and modern in a fun and easy way. Price for service could not be beat! I'll be coming back regularly!
