“Today I decided it was finally time to sell a couple of gold and diamond rings I’ve had sitting around for years. I kept thinking maybe one day I’d wear them or have a reason to use them, but realistically they were just collecting dust. So I spent the day going around town getting quotes and quickly learned there’s a big difference between honest business people and people trying to take advantage of you.
I dealt with everything from smooth-talking conmen to a few decent and fair people along the way. Then I walked into Sunset Jewelry and Loan and met Kirk.
From the moment I came in, Kirk was welcoming, respectful, and professional. I explained that I was looking to get pricing on selling a couple of old rings, and after handing them to him, he told me it would only take a few minutes to work up the numbers and encouraged me to look around the store while he checked them out.
Like many people these days, the economy has definitely made life tighter financially. You do what you have to do to keep things moving forward, but the last thing anyone wants when they’re already feeling pressure is to walk into a business and feel like they’re being hustled or taken advantage of. I never felt that way for one second with Kirk.
He was honest, straightforward, fair, and respectful throughout the entire process. In today’s world — especially in businesses dealing with jewelry, loans, and resale — finding someone with genuine integrity is rare. That matters.
After Kirk gave me his offer, I told him I wanted to check a couple more places before making a decision. One other business actually offered me the exact same amount, but I chose to drive back and sell the rings to Kirk because of the way he conducted business.
That says everything right there.
People remember how they’re treated, especially during times when money is tight and stress levels are high. Kirk treated me fairly, spoke to me with respect, and never once made me feel pressured or undervalued.
He earned my respect today, and because of that I’ll absolutely return to Sunset Jewelry and Loan in the future. I highly recommend them to anyone looking for an honest, fair, and trustworthy place to do business.”

The store is clean, organized, and well stocked with a great selection of firearms, electronics, jewelry, tools, and other quality items. The inventory is always changing, which makes every visit interesting because you never know what great deal you’ll find.
What really stands out is the customer service. The staff is friendly, professional, and genuinely helpful. They take the time to answer questions, explain products, and make sure you feel comfortable throughout the entire process. I never felt pressured, and the transaction was smooth from start to finish.
I was especially impressed by the fair pricing and how easy they made the purchasing process. It’s refreshing to deal with a business that values customer service and treats people with respect.
