They closed my business account stating it was because I sell tobacco. I don't sell tobacco. Never have. Never will. There was no discussion, no warning, no appeal. No logic, no escalation, no common sense. With a bank on nearly every corner, run don't walk away from Synovus in Palm Harbor Florida.

The ATM is ALWAYS OUT OF ORDER! It's bad enough synovous can't put the atm in the drive thru and make you get out vulnerable at night, just to find its not working AGAIN! Like come on!! So rediculous..ill be switching banks to a more user friendly bank that has my safety in mind...smh.

I can personally say I have banked at a few places, and this particular branch does go out of its way to make it personal. I would attribute that to Michelle Baldwin the VP of this branch. If I need something, especially something done quickly (both personally and business related), it is all hands on deck. I had a need the other day and I was reached out by not 1, not 2, but 3 different people from the teller to the top of the branch to make sure everything was taken care of to my satisfaction and that goes a long way for me. I would recommend Michelle and Synovus as a branch that cares about their customers and wants to make sure you feel like you are not just a number, but a valued client.

This is such a nice and small bank. The staff are all family and so helpful when it comes to answering your questions. Michelle is the manager there and she is so friendly to customers and very welcoming. Sarah is really knowledgeable about the financial stuff and she really helped me.

Wow, a $5.00 check cashing fee for someone who doesn't have an account. Not a good way to get possible new customers.

Do not let your bank account go dormant, they will start charging you $10.00 a month and stop sending you statements so you will have no idea that you are even being charged. Opened an account but was not actively using you account only found out about the charges when I went to use it after 12 months. When I asked them why did I stop getting statements they informed me that they figured the address was probably not current, but that did not stop them from supposedly sending a letter to that address that indicated that I was going to be charged the dormant fees. Would not bank with this establishment. Why do they get away with this?
