I mailed my kids Christmas gifts (Delaware) on 12/17 and the lady who took my package said it would be there by 12/21. It is now 1/1/22 and they still haven't received their gifts. I also mailed something to Australia, which it was delivered in less than a week. I'm not sure how that works but I will never use USPS AGAIN, no matter how much it costs at other carriers. This is absolutely pathetic.

I ordered something a package from Amazon that was supposed to be a birthday gift. I will not give the bad review to the seller when it was the Opa Locka distribution center that decided it was a great idea to send my package to SPOKANE, WASHINGTON!!!!!! The opposite side of the country I live in Tennessee all they had to do was send the package through either Alabama or Georgia and boom there is Tennessee right above but nope they decided to send my package to the state of Washington now it’s super delayed and feel really embarrassed to give such a ridiculously late birth gift, if it gets delayed again I’ll be asking USPS a for a refund because like I mentioned the seller is not at fault that usps decided to give my package a nation wide tour

My package has been sitting here for 2 days now, and I know that’s not out of the ordinary, but on average from my other packages, they leave distribution centers within 8 hours. WTH is going on here??? My package was closer to me beforehand too until it came here for no apparent reason. From reading all the horrible reviews, I’m worried I won’t ever get my package. Do better.

My daughter wedding is coming and I decided to get a nice gift from overseas to her. The package arrived to Opa Locka NM Florida distribution USPS Center on 6/21/2025 and since than it's seating there waiting to be delivered. I send to USPS many requests to hurry up and since we are 15 minutes away from that USPS Distribution Center I was hoping to get some attention.
I was wrong . I am still waiting and today is the 6/29/2025. Absolutely not acceptable

I don’t wanna give a 1 star review but for some reason my package was sent here and then it said it was in dallas tx and i’m in austin tx but for some reason it said it’s departing this florida distrubution center. my package has some value to it so i’m hoping it arrives this monday like expected. i’m hoping anyone can give me some hope🙏🏽 i’m just worried

The USPS needs a complete overhaul, but it should start with this distribution center. I have numerous packages that come via this location and 80% of the packages are “Delayed in Transit” due to sitting at this facility for multiple days. The purpose of Priority Mail is to get things in a timely manner, but that seems lost on this center. USPS, please do better! It’s not like you can really do much worse.

This has been the worst experience I’ve had with USPS, and unfortunately, it’s not surprising considering the distribution center in Florida. I mailed a Father’s Day gift well in advance, paid for 2-day estimated delivery, and yet the package has been “in transit” with no updated scans since June 10th.
It is now well past the delivery window, and there has been no communication, no accountability, and no resolution. This is not only unacceptable it’s completely ridiculous.
I trusted USPS to handle this time-sensitive item, and your lack of urgency and reliability has caused unnecessary stress and disappointment. It’s clear the system is broken and in desperate need of more reliable and responsible workers.
I expect someone to take action immediately to locate this package and provide answers.

June 2nd: walk package into US Postal Service (Chicago) to ship to Ft Lauderdale for my daughter. Package (my daughter’s passport and her license plate registration sticker) was shipped priority. Priority has a 2-3 day timeline for delivery but that’s not guaranteed 🙄🙄 but the delivery date was estimated to be June 5th
June 3rd package arrives at Chicago distribution center which I had to find out by phone with customer service because the tracking number wasn’t giving me a status update
June 8th package leaves Chicago heads to FL
June 9th package arrives in Opa Locka, FL at the distribution center
June 10th, 11th & 12th tracking status - moving through network - in transit to next facility, arriving late
June 10th search mail inquiry sent
June 11th inquiry closed and directed to fill out a missing mail form
Today is day 11 since the shipping process began. Conclusion is basically USPS lost this package and I have the pleasure of having to replace the items that were in the box 🤬🤬🤬. Insurance claim will definitely be filed.
Tracking hasn’t been updated since 6/11
Note to self: stick to UPS

My dad stopped mailing his mortgage payments via this Opa Locka Post Office because the payments were getting lost and he had to pay a late fee. There's no reply why and nobody helps find where the envelopes were tracked. The clerk says they don't deal with the envelopes after they leave from there. I was an Ebay customer and every time an Ebay seller ships a package, this post office delayed to deliver it or the package got lost. Nobody is ever blamed there. My tip is pay your bills online if you want to prevent them from getting lost.
