Showed up to pick up car and at least 6 people in lot waiting for doors to open. Door said orange city location opened at 7 am. Two men finally showed at 830 am. They unlocked doors and didn't say a word. 45 minutes later they opened door slightly and asked a few people if they were there to pick up or drop off. Now their are at least 10 people waiting for service. He relocked door and went back inside. Tried to call to see what was going on to 800 number and local number. 800 number was useless. Local number was answered and told they would open in a few minutes. 15 minutes later he unlocks door and said they could not open safe and would be just a couple of minutes. Asked a few more people what kind of vehicle they were waiting on. One customer said a truck for work. The employee rudely said we don't have a truck. The customer said I ordered this over a week ago and it is needed for work. Customer now had waited over an hour to get told this. No apologies from employees. He locked door again and went inside. We landed up leaving and driving to airport and renting there for over double the price. We had no idea when they did open. Cars were all over the lot blocking so you could not have gotten out. The outside premises were filled with garbage. Should have rented from Enterprise like relative suggested in Orange City he never had a problem there

We had a very good experience with Avis and Budget Rental Car. The Kia we rented was clean and only had 300+ miles. We had a fun hassle free trip. Thank u.

The bald guy with the beard who was working yesterday? Had the store closed well before 5:00 p.m, I drove by before dropping off my rental and the lights were off and he was nowhere to be seen. When I go to drop off my rental at 5:00 pm (which was my dropoff time) he stood behind the glass refusing to speak to me and telling me that I should drop the keys in the box and get charged and extra day. He refused to even open the door and address me like a human being while I was standing in the pouring rain. Then when I asked him about it today, he lied and said that he closed the door exactly at 5:00 p.m, which is video footage can confirm is untrue. I hope that person learns a lesson in humility and basic human decency, they don't need to be working in costumer service.Rent from another location. As long as this person is working the front desk, they will not treat you with respect and will likely screw you over.

I would give a negative star if that was a choice. I showed up a little before 7pm tonight, Christmas Eve, to pick up my rental at the Daytona Beach Airport and the staff had closed up and left. The other car rental companies were there and those folks confirmed that that the Avis/Budget staff had left for the night. My reservation was for 8pm and had been paid in full. I contacted the reservation 800 # and they confirmed that location was open till 8pm and my reservation was valid. The guy said he didn’t know what to tell me and transferred me to customer service who did not answer and the automated system requested I leave a message. The system stated someone would contact me in 24 hours. How does that help? I am out my money (for now) and no rental car, no explanation, no one available to help.

They should treat their loyal customers over 12 years with better respect and dignity... They should also be honest and give you what you reserve.. they shouldn't give you any leftovers just so they can make more money on other cars even if you reserved that particular car and they won't give it to you!.. integrity and honesty is key to running any business!

I would give 0 stars but that isn't an option. Worst car rental "business" I have ever had the displeasure of using. Do not waste your time. They are rude and will charge you an astronomical amount of money. Every employee at this location is rude. There is no recourse. They hang up on you when you try to get help from a higher up. Every person in every department you reach is unprofessional. The Orange City manager told us to go f* ourselves!! Will never give them business again. They can buy a new car for what they charged us for one week. We should have read their reviews. This location should be shut down.

Besides the best prices in town and also you get AAA discount there just very friendly service very personable service which is rare. My car was in the shop so I only trust one mechanic and because he's so good and honest and reasonably priced he's very backed up so I needed a rental car for 2 weeks. 624 with a 10% AAA discount for 2 weeks that's a great price and again great service here. If I ever need to rent a car again that's where I'm going.

We rented a car for 5 days at a pretty high price for the car we got. It was a Subaru with a lot of problems for a late model. The windows were so dirty that we had to purchase cleaning spray and clean them ourselves. Then the windshield washer hose was chewed through and we had to repair that. Then the power windows decided not to work properly and when we finally got them up we were afraid to lower them again. When we returned the vehicle and told them about the problems she said we'll that's the airport's problem. I said "No, that was our problem when we had it."She refunded us $25.00 for our troubles.

I had an very bad experience with Avis on 11/22/21, I was charged $950 in extra days 19 to be exact. When someone from Avis called me to ask about extending the rental, I said yes he never mentioned the late fees and I explained that to them they didn’t want to hear anything i had to say, I just think it was a messed up situation with no resolution and I have been waiting on a call from upper management, still waiting wow this is how you treat a paying customer. This cars are not brand new but Cheaper then other rental car. The guy who works there is awesome. Also the owner.
