PLEASE READ! PLEASE DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH TRUIST!!!!!I left SunTrust 5 years ago, now known as "Truist" and I am still having problems! They have not changed! Still rude customer service, garbage communication and the most inconvenient policies/banking I have EVER dealt with. They will lie straight to your face and pretend they didn't the following day. ONLINE or IN PERSON. PLEASE AVOID.

My true rating is not a 1 but a negative 10 If I could give less than a 1 I would. The phone system is awful to start with and that is just the beginning. I have spent countless hours trying to get the issue resolved. by countless I mean 3.50 hours. I was transferred from department to department only to have zero resolution. Truist felt they could just deduct money out of my account 516.00 even though the check was not indorsed. The recipient of the money Space Coast did not receive the check. That is why the check is NOT indorsed. My time is not respect nor is my money. I am now in the middle of a claim that they may or may not give me my money back. As of right now there is 516.00 sitting in a Truist black hole. I know they would never cash a check that I presented to them with out my endorsement. Why is it ok to deduct money from my account on a check that is not endorsed. I feel like my own bank has stolen my money and violated me. Abusive and offensive. My true rating is not a 1 but a negative 10

Screw this bank DO NOT CREATE AN ACCOUNT HERE!!!!. Horrible customer service, stealing my money from me, and then wants to cause fraud by asking for my entire social over the phone knowing it’s illegal to give my entire social. Every time i went to speak Melinda decided to interrupt me and not listening to me and my concern on where my $49 went.

I get to the bank at 845am. At 9 am I walk in and set down waiting for a banker. Thirty minutes go by and an employee walks over to a customer that just walked in (I’ve been setting there since they open). He informs her no banker will be available until after 1pm. No one approached me to let me know I was wasting my time. Also why do they not have enough employees. Terrible bank. Always something. They use my money but don’t have time to do a wire for me? Insane…..

Absolutely 100% scam artists! My mom has been with this bank for over 15 years, from SunTrust to Truist. Her savings, bank account, 401k, stocks and bonds all have been there. She's 72 and has a credit score of 725 and goes in for $17,000 loan, to put into her home. That she owns and is almost paid off with Wells Fargo. They deny her the loan on Monday, with no reason and on Thursday she receives a giant packet to transfer and remortgage her home. READ BETWEEN THE LINES!! Deny a small loan she can pay off and give her a big loan she definitely won't be able to pay off, so they can take her home. After she puts money into it and it's worth up to $450,000. If that's not a scam and taking advantage of the elderly, I don't know what is!

On any given day, regardless of how busy they are, 3-4 tellers are behind the counter, but only 1 or 2 at most are actually helping customers. The rest are milling around making small talk with each other. They do not acknowledge customers in a timely manner and seemingly ignore you and find every possible excuse to avoid helping anyone. They are extremely rude and disrespectful. There are far too many competing banks, not to mention plenty of eager applicants with better service skills to be treated this way as a customer. It's high time to do some major staffing changes at this location.

Had an account for years. Recent service was frustrating when calling the 800#. Foreign representatives were very difficult to understand and disconnected me each time I called. When calling the local branch, no answer. Recorded a message for a call back 2 different times, no returned call. Explained my issues and seems depending on who you talk to, get different answers. Had to go to the bank twice, which is in the next city as they closed my branch. After explaining my issues at the bank on my 2nd trip, the woman pulled up my account and stated it was good, after I explained the problem. She obviously wasn't listening. As I spoke with her she repeatedly (in not such a friendly tone) stated she was trying to help me. I closed my account.

Suntrust was a much better bank. Truist would get 5 stars for disappointment. Made an appointment for notary and they claimed they didn’t notarize mortgage documents anymore. She said Suntrust did but since Truist took over they made them stop. So instead of using my bank for this service I had to pay $10 per stamp to the UPS store.

The manager and 1 staff member is friendly, smiles, & provides great 5 star customer service. However, when you go to the counter the people behind the counter look as if they are being tortured. No one behind the counter smiles. They don't realize it is their duty to smile and make customers feel welcome. They sound depressed. You put your customers in a funk when you are negative. We can all see you and we think you should be better. We can move our funds to many other banks and have better overall experiences.

Saturday morning woke up to a hold on my husbands check. Judy was awesome in working us into a busy schedule and Daynada was amazing in resolving our issue. I appreciate their awesome customer service and speedy service in helping us resolve our issue. They were very busy and only had 3 people working the whole bank. Thanks ladies and Truist

Worse Bank ever .I was on phone holding for about 40 minutes when finally got a live person, she was not interested on helping or even faking that she cared to provide customer service. At the branch had to make an appointment to talk to someone.Took them 2weeks to figure where was the payment that I send .You can't run a bank without customer service
