A little background on my 1 star review , I had a hair appointment on September 2024 with Ivette , I was pleased and I make another appointment for December , life go on I forgot the appointment, I make plan to go out of town I did not show to the appointment. After that I book manicure, pedicure and massages that 1 was taking one a month because I really like it . Today April 29 I have a 1 pm hair appointment with Ivette , I get there ,the receptionist asked me are you Ana? , I said yes ,then Ivette was there and said I have 2 questions for you (she no even said hi, I tought that rude ) you had an appointment in December and you didn’t show WHY ? , so I star explaining myself , then she said in a high tone of voice , “ that was a pricy appointment , they don’t pay me here and I piss and I don’t want to work with people that don’t show etc “ so I understood she was upset I was to because the way she was talking to me , she was childish and unprofessional she could manage the situation so much better . I make an appointment for a service at Tanz spa , the arrangement that they have with the employee is non of my business if she get paid or not is not my issue , that between her and Tanz spa ,I proceed to cancel my coming massage appointment because I will no do business there anymore even I do not have issues with anyone else there , and Ivette proceed to said in her way out the door ‘that who you are taking business from other worker when it was you that did not show ‘. Well I been working in customer service for 30 year and guess what , that what people does they don’t show , is part of the business, companies like Tanz spa have a policy that they charge people that not show , Companies that provide services and live from customer like me booking those services don’t go and shame customer for not show to the appointments , why because is bad for business . This is for the Tanz spa management , I believe that you need to know how your employees treat your customers , the interaction that I had today with Ivette make me take my business somewhere else . I make the appointment with Tanz spa at the end of the day is your reputation as a customer a bad experience with one of your employees is a bad experience with the company. Again I not trying to excuse that I did not show to my appointment , but the way that your employee manage the situation was unprofessional, wrong ,incompetent and inappropriate.

Very bad massage experience. I have a sore neck and back pain. I asked for a relaxing and rejuvenating massage but it has been 3 days now and i am in bad pain. Also the facial was very ordinary. Was my first time there and will never recommend to family and friends.

I had such high hopes for my manicure and pedicure at Tanz Spa, especially since I’m 9 months pregnant with my due date just a week away. I rarely treat myself to services like this, but I wanted a little self-care before my baby arrives. Unfortunately, my experience left me extremely disappointed.
I had purchased a $100 gift certificate for my husband for a massage, which he never used. So, before it expired, I decided to use it for a manicure and pedicure. I was really looking forward to a relaxing foot rub and proper nail care, as I physically can’t reach my feet right now.
While the nail tech who took care of me was nice, that was the only positive part of my visit. She claimed to have 18 years of experience, but the quality of her work did not reflect that at all. She also mentioned that she is the only nail tech at this spa, which makes me wonder about the overall quality control for their nail services.
Here’s what went wrong:
• Rushed service: She hurried through both my manicure and pedicure, making the experience feel anything but relaxing.
• Sloppy polish application: The polish was applied unevenly, with some bare spots on my fingernails and some nails painted darker than others. On my toes, she left polish on my skin, making them look messy.
• Incorrect cuticle care: Instead of trimming my cuticles, she pushed them back and then painted over them, leaving a thick, cakey layer of polish over my cuticle beds. This is very obvious in the photos I’ll be posting.
• Lack of professionalism: Her station was disorganized, and overall, the environment did not feel as polished as I would expect from a spa.
• Poor service recommendations: I initially wanted gel polish on my toes, but she talked me out of it with an excuse about potential medical concerns, which didn’t seem genuine. It honestly felt like she just didn’t want to take the extra time to do it.
To make matters worse, I upgraded my pedicure from express to deluxe, using the remaining amount on my gift certificate. Instead of making me feel pampered, she seemed annoyed by the upgrade, as if it was an inconvenience for her to provide the extra services that came with it.
What bothers me the most is that I wasted my $100 gift certificate on this experience. The total cost was $80, and the remaining amount automatically went to her as a tip, which I absolutely would not have chosen to give based on the service I received. I had initially planned to use the remaining balance for a gel upgrade, but I was talked out of it, leaving me feeling like I completely wasted my money.
I never get my nails done, so this was supposed to be a special treat, but instead, it left me feeling disappointed and upset all day. If you’re considering nail services at Tanz Spa, I strongly suggest looking elsewhere. I can’t speak for their other services, but based on my experience, I would not recommend their nail services to anyone.

Got my first facial ever yesterday with Tara, she was amazing. An overall great experience, 10/10 would recommend and see myself coming back!

Very dissatisfied.
Just had my first spray tan experience and it was disappointing. I mentioned the young worker several times that it is my first time and No experience in using spray tanning. She advised to me that the machine would give me cues on when to turn, but it was dead silent. Ended up getting hit FOUR times on the front side! Did not bother to offer refund or credit. Very poor service.

First time visiting the Tanz Spa and I'd visit again. I'm from Missouri and scheduled a 90 massage. Celeste listened to my needs and provided the Deep Tissue I requested. Excellent service!

Celeste was amazing. I have fibromyalgia and suffer from muscle spasms and usually only get massages more out of necessity than to seek relaxation. Celeste heard my concerns and my massage was perfect from start to finish. First time ever i am ever able to say i got to enjoy my massage as well as feel better. Thank you so much celeste see you in a few weeks

My daughter got her hair cut by Yvette at this location and she did a great job! She was friendly, gentle, and kept asking my daughter if she was ok. My daughter says she would love to keep using Yvette as her hair dresser in the future. The receptionist was very friendly as well. The facility was very clean and decorated very nicely.
