I saw Gina today at the salon and had booked for a simple haircut. I was extremely nervous because I hadn’t had a cut in over 6 months. She made the experience so wonderful - she listened to everything I wanted, checked in with me throughout everything to make sure it was looking how I liked, and helped me with some scalp issues I was having as well that I was quite embarrassed about initially and never made me feel bad about it once. She made me feel so comfortable, and I left with the best haircut I have had in a very long time. I wanted my very course curly hair smoothed out and she got my hair pin straight and glossy. I ended up leaving with some product that she was very knowledgeable about but never made me feel pressured into buying, but I’m excited to try them out. I will definitely be rebooking again with Gina!!!

One person working at checkout and no one came to help as the line got so long. I would have left, but I had a gift card I needed to use. So ridiculous.

Ulta has a great hair stylist by the name of Gina. She went above & beyond to make sure I was satisfied and happy. I would recommend her to anyone wanting a color, cut & style.

Very disappointed with this store. Not the fault of any of the "on the floor" employees but very poorly managed and run. This is evidenced by a few things. It is 2 days after Christmas. There are 11 people waiting in line to check out and only 2 cashiers, one of whom is helping someone open a store credit card, which takes awhile. I guess it was time for the 2nd cashier to leave because she said "ok see you later" and walked out of the front door, leaving only 1 cashier to help the now 14 people waiting in line. I waited about 5 minutes to see if someone else was coming to help, no one came. So I asked the ONLY cashier if there was anyone she could call up to help her... she said "no, it's just me". This young lady is doing her best but it is absolutely ridiculous that she is BY HERSELF to service now 16 people in line, with zero help! Very.poor.management.

so it all started on 12/18/23 when my daughter (well i did for her) placed an order on the app (which my daughter is only 13) and she placed the order with just her name as the pick up person so before her order was ready for pick up, I put her dad down as an alternate person for pick up because my daughter is under 18 yrs old and doesn't have a state ID but does have her school ID. So when the order was ready for pick up my husband took my daughter to pick it up when it was ready for pick up and when they get there they get this OoOo so wonderful "Averie" and my daughter provides her with her school ID and she looks a bit confused so my husband explains she is not of age and doesn't have a proper state ID so my husband said she was going to refuse to give them their product until he said look I'm an alternate person on the account for pick up here is my ID and proceeds to give her his ID, well let me tell you how this lady had the nerves to open the SEALED bag and take the stuff out, my husband said excuse me why are you opening it, its sealed? she proceeds to say to make sure its the right thing, well that's why its sealed. Ok lets go to today now 12/26/23, my husband takes both my daughters this time to purchase stuff, well they make their purchase and go into Sephora well my daughter realizes after Sephora that she got the wrong mascara so my husband proceeds to take my girls back to EXCHANGE the mascara she bought 20 mins ago. They get there and she grabs the correct masacara (same brand, same price) and goes to check out and well well well they get this lady Averie again. my daughter proceeds to explain that she needs to exchange it and asks my daughter for a phone number, my husband says no because he doesn't want to provide that and is NOT obligated to provide that so she then goes well i need to talk to the manager.( FOR WHAT???? I HAVE THE RECEIPT) and I'm only exchanging so the manager comes over and Averie explains that my daughter wants to exchange it and the manager proceeds to asks to my husband again for a phone number and my husband says no, so she then proceeds to mumble something and walks away so Averie then says to my husband again phone number and he says no we don't have an account here and she was refusing until my husband said look on your receipt it says "RETAIN RECEIPT FOR RETURN" and she then says again i need to ask the manager... like what is wrong with these people?!? seriously!!!!! WE HAVE THE RECEIPT AND WERE THERE 20 MINS PRIOR AND THE MANAGER IS THE ONE THAT CHECKED THEM OUT.. so the manager comes back and starts AGGRESSIVLY typing in front of daughters that they got scared and said daddy forget it lets go.. REALLY ULTA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but nope my husband did not give and she ended up giving my husband the refund so my daughter can purchase the right one, still after all that still spend money there... AND UPON WALKING OUT MY 13 YEAR OLD HEARD THE MANAGER SAY "IM STRESSED ENOUGH" AS IF WE DID IT.. DO YOUR JOB RIGHT! I WILL BE GOING AS HIGH AS I CAN!! THIS IS WRONG AND IM SPREADING THE WORD EVERYWHERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My 79-year-old mother was seeking out in last minute gift tonight. She called the store in Orange City to check stock on an item. I was sitting next to her. The first phone call was over 17 minutes on hold. I told her to hang up and call back maybe they forgot about her. The second phone call the woman apologized and said no it doesn't take that long to check stock so she went on to check. That phone call was over 9 minutes. Again she hung up and called back this time the woman said that it takes a long time to check stock. Cell phones have timers she read the times off to me each time. A lot of people are not internet savvy to go online and look for stock but calling the store is not an option here. I don't understand how a store stays in business with this kind of customer service. We found the item at another retailer. It's only $100 worth of business but it's $100 this store will not be getting.

So, this location is REALLY nice. But the older manager was quite rude. I stopped in to buy the new Ariana Grande foundation and it said you could get a free sponge. She was SO passive aggressive about it ? I just asked- and she narrows her eyes and flatly goes "I haven't heard anything about it." I wasn't mad, but I persisted bc I saw the ad. Last time Rem gave away free sponges all you had to do was scan it at the register. I could tell she wanted to just say it didn't work and send me on my way, but I just asked her to make sure. I wasn't angry. She looked down her nose at me, responded gruffly, and then acted angry and defensive when it worked. Then I started to act a little firm and defensive in return. I don't know if she just assumed I was angry about the deal or what, but getting a sponge definitely didn't need to be so dramatic. Just because I ask something from you and it takes longer than 10 seconds doesn't make me a karen. ?
