“Super cool shop! Refurbished, re-purposed, antiques, and more. I appreciate all the collections of trinkets, furniture, and decor. This place has a lot to see, so stop by and take some time to enjoy this quaint establishment. The lady at the counter is sweet and very helpful. If you're looking for something specific, just ask - and visit often as new goods are placed on the floor all the time. One thing I should have purchased a few years ago (and STILL think about) was a carved Oak dresser mirror that was painted with black chalk paint in the space the mirror usually goes, and the chalk handwritten message read "Friends don't let friends shop retail". I should have purchased it! It was so awesome! Don't do like me - get your goodies when you see them because they will not last long in the shop!”

“Outstanding hidden gem in Avondale neighborhood in Jacksonville! Owner Garrett, is knowledgeable and the prices are fair. He has a wide ranging understanding of antiques which makes his estate sales great as well! He has helped me identify items and answer the many questions that come along with the items. If he doesn’t have it, he usually knows who collects it, where it can be found and who may want/buy it. This is a must-see stop when in Shoppes of Avondale! **Parking is an issue, but I park a few blocks away and enjoy the beautiful neighborhood on my walk to the shop.”
