We’ve had 3 kids go to Coach Sally for lessons now and have had the greatest experiences each time! Going into their first lesson, they wouldn’t put their face in the water, but they were by the end of that first day. The 2 oldest are fish in the water now, and the 3-yr-old just finished her lessons and excelled! She’s way more advanced than I even expected after 1 week!

I’m not sure where to start, I am usually the opposite when it comes to reviews and only review when a place gets 5 stars (you can even click on my name and see I never do negative reviews), however, the situation with Sally’s swim school was just so disappointing. I registered my daughter for swim lessons with Sally on March 1st, the day of registration, and got a spot in a May class. All confirmed via email, online portal and bank statements. I then contacted them the beginning of may to add another class for July. All of these classes were ones we were doing with friends to make it a more fun experience for my daughter. The day of class comes around and my mother takes my daughter to her first class, only to be kicked out after my daughters name wasn’t on the coaches “printed roster.” I was at a doctors appointment when my mother called and I was able to send over all the proof of registration and payment, they still treated her and my daughter poorly (in front of our friends who also stood up and said we all signed up and were confirmed the same day”. Instead of stopping to figure out what went wrong or even making an effort, they just told my mom they couldn’t begin until they left and that they needed to leave. My daughter actually called me in tears because the coach told her “she was out.” Mind you, the pool is set up in such a fun way, slides, different floats, and she had two friends there that were able to stay but she had to leave… I understand system errors happen and we found out eventually that happened, I understand small business owners, I am one. But how this was handled, especially with a child, was just bad. I’ve had several people who have taken classes with her and they’ve all said she isn’t warm and fuzzy, but she gets the job done. Well, unfortunately we experienced that part of the business. I left a voicemail and asked for her to call me, I had one voicemail from her and through email (after confirming that we were indeed registered and it was a system error on their part, she ended up dismissing us from all the other classes we had signed up for. Let me be clear, I was not rude. I was not happy that she made my daughter cry, was rude to my mother and didn’t even check to see what happened right then and there, but I was never rude. We were still willing to do lessons with her, but after her email of dismissal I was able to find another swim lesson coach with wonderful reviews that was still available (remember I booked her on March 1 for a May date that was the earliest available). All in all, I’m not trying to get anyone to go out of business, I don’t believe a review has that power and shouldn’t, but I do think that if you decide to do lessons with this swim school just triple check you are actually signed up for the classes through calling or emailing them and don’t expect extreme kindness. They did refund us for the two classes and now I am waiting for the registration fee refund. I was really interested in this school because they supposedly prayed over the students and played Christian music, but unfortunately my family and I didn’t get a chance to even see if Christ was truly exemplified, instead of being helped we were swept under the rug and not “dealt with”. We live on a lake and these swim lessons were crucial for our daughters safety, it’s just sad that these things weren’t even considered when she decided she didn’t want to deal with our problem. Just a disappointing experience.

Our family loved Coach Sally and her staff! Wonderful place, very personable with a safe yet fun atmosphere! I highly recommend to anyone looking for lessons!

Worth every penny! An absolute must for children just learning to swim or developing their skills. She teaches so many great things to build on and provided essential education for children AND parents. All students in my son’s class made considerable progress by the end of the week it was incredible! My son & I are now looking forward to a summer of practicing & building on what he learned & would love to return for another class later on once he is ready to learn some higher level skills.

Very happy with Coach Sally's lessons! Our 5 year old went from being afraid to put his face in the water to going fully underwater and swimming by himself with very close supervision. He was jumping off the diving board and going down the slides! He gained such bravery this week! I also love that she starts the class with prayer. Would definitely recommend her classes. I think the pricing is great for the amount my son learned in just 1 week.

My daughter has thrived this summer from her lessons with coach Sally. Coach Sally's teaching and bright out the driver send determination in my child. So much so she conquered her fear of the water slide due to a traumatic experience last year from a regular slide.

I was so blown away by how great Coach Sally was with my 3 year old! By day one, my daughter was comfortable putting her head under water. By day 5 my 3 year old was able to swim! (Very short distance of course, but the point is she has the confidence to keep practicing) Coach Sally taught skills I didn’t even realize were important like how to climb out of a pool and bob for breath. You will definitely get your moneys worth and peace of mind bringing your child here.

My grandchildren wouldn't even put their faces in the water and now they actually swim and do tricks in 1 week. They love going to see Coach Sally. She is very orderly, informative, patient but stays in control of what she is doing. My grandson (DJ) can be handful but he really loves it when he hears Good Job from Coach Sally. Thank you Coach and they will be back soon.

My 7 year old son didn't even like getting his face wet in the tub and was very timid around any pool. We had tried lessons at other places to no avail, but after a week with Coach Sally he was dunking his head underwater, going down the slide and jumping off the diving board like a champ. Every day instead of being scared of the water he was looking forward to going to swim lessons and spending time in the pool. It was clear that Coach Sally was making him comfortable about being in the water while also building his confidence about swimming. I can't recommend her enough. Excellent experience for him and us!

My son is loved the experience! We were very impressed with the week long classes and Coach Sally's teaching methods. My son feel more confident in the water and is swimming the full length of the pool without assistance. I highly recommend this program!
