Jesus will take your hard earned thousands and never do the job. I have no idea where these good reviews came from, because he clearly does not know how to run a business.

I am extremely disappointed with my friend’s experience with Jays Drywall. They were promised a professional and honorable service, backed by the company’s claimed 25 years of experience, but instead, they were scammed out of thousands of dollars.
Despite multiple attempts to reach out civilly to resolve the matter, the business has refused to respond maturely or take any accountability for their actions. Instead, they took the money and ceased all communication. This is not the behavior of an honorable or trustworthy business.
I strongly urge others to think twice before trusting this company with their time or money.

We hired Jesus at the beginning of December to complete a drywall project for us. We paid several thousand dollars for this project, to be given the run around from Jesus for nearly two months now without showing up even a single day to do the job. We have given him multiple opportunities to communicate with us, and make this right. Because we are on a deadline, we have had to hire another company at this point. Jesus is refusing to return our money. When I reached out to his wife, she said he was off on a bender staying in an airport in Jacksonville and she could not get ahold of him. Under no circumstances hire this company. It is run by a scammer, regardless of how many good reviews he has. Also, check out Sunbiz for this company name, and you’ll see he dissolved the actual business in 2022. We are making the proper notifications to the IRS, BBB, and local law enforcement to ensure this scammer is not allowed to take advantage of other unsuspecting victims who don’t just have thousands to continue forking out for a job that was never done. This man is deeply troubled and at 53 cannot even get himself together enough to properly run a business.

I transformed my nook area into an office, and Jay's Drywall and his team did an exceptional job. We were so pleased with their work that we hired them again for more projects. The price is reasonable, and I highly recommend this company.

Removed popcorn ceiling and repaired whole house ceiling and walls a then painted. Crew was clean, courteous and timely. Have already recommended to others and will continue to use on next house remodel project. Thanks for a professional job.

Jesus and his crew were absolutely FANTASTIC. They showed up on time and went above and beyond. They’re professional, polite, hard working and focused on doing the job well. Jesus was in the midst of a family tragedy and still didn’t skip a beat. We will b calling Jesus again and again. No need to call anyone else!

Mr. Lopez and his team were GREAT! They communicated great, gave a great price, were fast to come visit, and got the work done correctly the first time around. BEST in Jacksonville, all around GREAT SERVICE and went above and beyond to get the job done. We will HIRE him for all future upgrades or repairs!! Feb 2024!

Thank you Jesus for doing a great job on our rental homes garage. The 20 year old house has drywall put up with nails. One of the drywall panels was coming loose. Jay's Drywall took off the popcorn, repaired all the drywall, screwed the panels up properly, re-taped the joints and skimmed the surface. It looks great and is ready for me to paint.

Jay doesn't leave a stone unturned during a renovation and he even pointed out tons of things to fix before his drywall team came in to cut and hang drywall and mud. He's all about doing the job done efficiently, on time, and his energy is amazing. Turned around a few bathroom wall issues in 2 hours and the painters were very happy with their work. I'm using Jay for anything drywall related and will definitely be recommending later. I will add photos once paint is complete.
